  This place would have deserved a 4 star, if it were in U.S.A. Alas, in Quebec, they are spoiled and have great food everywhere and I would have given it 3 stars compared to other Quebec establishment, where it not for the service. We were a few minutes last closing time if their kitchen but the chef wanted to serve us anyway and did his extra best. He basically used all his artisanship and made a special meal, for us. Pretty good food, very romantic environment and GREAT service. The choices are somewhat limited, compared to the other great restaurants around but the atmosphere is very lively.

  I really don't understand the high ratings. The food is uninspired, verging on bland, and the server was inattentive while simultaneously bordering on pretentious. The server who served the bread and offered the cheese and pepper was very nice and attentive. From this visit, the restaurant -- and especially its "food" -- is definitely not deserving of the hype.
