Simply, the best Italian restaurant! Food is delicious and not over priced, but the service is what for me, really sets this place apart from anywhere else... If your thinking of going, stop. Just go.

Our first dinner here and the service was very good. The food and wine were delightful. The decor is cozy and my only minor criticism was the veal was a little tough. Perhaps I don't eat veal often enough?

Great place for a business lunch or romantic supper with someone special. The experienced wait staff are attentive. Owners greet you at the door. Food is tasty and pricing is very fair. Free parking in the rear off O’Connor street, but watch for cyclists in both directions. (City of OTTAWA wisdom-two way bicycle traffic on a one way street). Good selection of wine and menu favorites. Out of town visitors make this a must go to place. Highly recommend an evening here. Make reservations especially if there is any event on in the downtown area.

Mama Teresa’s was pretty good. Definitely not my favourite Italian restaurant in town, but pretty good. The presentation was not great, our server did not know answers to some of our menu questions, and the calamari was just alright. The portions are great though but the food itself was just alright. I liked that they brought peppers and olives to your table as well as bread before the meal.

Amazing service, amazing food. The restaurant is a lot bigger than it looks online. It is busy but not overwhelmingly busy. The venetian mussels were probably some of the best mussels I have ever had. The portions are nice and big and the prices are on the average side, but worth every penny. Definitely would go back again.
