  Super helpful staff. They checked my bass over after I'd wired in new pick-ups and I wasn't sure if I'd done it right. I had and there was no charge for the check up. They turned it around in less than 3 hours too. Awesome!

  Was looking for new headphones in the 300 - 400 dollar range. Yes online there is a bigger choice and I did research many options but to me there is no substitute for seeing them physically and listening to some choices while a knowledgeable salesperson talks me through them. I went to Long & McQuade and was very happy with what I was shown and the very helpful salesperson pointed out a couple of issues I was not taking into account for which I am grateful. I bought a pair and am very happy with them. Highly recommend you consider this store when making a purchase.

  This was the place where my dad bought my clarinet decades ago (in their former location). My mother damaged it badly (she actually cleaned the instrument with household cleaners when I explicitly told her to keep out) and the staff were able to replace all the pads. The repair cost was a bit of an ouch and it took twice as long as I originally anticipated to be fixed but it was done beautifully and thank goodness my daughter had a free loaner through her school during the wait. Now she's playing the clarinet like a brand new instrument. The staff were nice enough to allow my children to handle all sort of instruments every visit. Normally I'd be leery to have them handle anything unless they expressed great interest in purchasing but they encouraged them to try, especially my younger daughter who is trying to figure out which instrument to specialize for next year.

  Best place to purchase guitars, sheet music, and any type of instrument you need for a band! Prices are always the best and equipment rentals are outrageous....cheap! Helpful and friendly staff even when it's super busy.
