::Please note this for the Brunswick clinic maybe other clinics are different Dr. Zorn is a charismatic Doctor who seems to know what he is talking about but his business practices leave a lot to be desired. At his office there is no list of services that are charge that are billed as extras. On Sept. the 8, 2016 I had an appointment with Dr. Zorn for a enlarged prostate diagnostic, it turned out to have been a bad diagnostic from the from whoever. Then Dr. Zorn told me he wanted another test and an ultrasound. I asked Dr. Zorn if there was a fee he, vaguely said no, he did not know it's a very short test ETC. I got the test thinking it was part of the normal examination and the law clearly states that a Quebec resident is entitled to free medical services and any additional the patient has to be informed as to the fees in advance, so I felt confident there was no additional fees, we pay enough taxes for medical services if there is no emergency why pay extra This test I was charged for is available at the hospital under the RAMQ. When it came time to leave then Dr. Zorn was aware of the $150.00 fee. This is illegal before one is asked to pay for services one is to be informed of the cost and if the medical procedure is available at the hospital one must be offered this choice. As for his secretary she is full of excuses, has no knowledge.
