Helpful staff, and great quality products. My only gripe is that they only have the one location... but then maybe that's also part of why they're still in business. A great place to shop!

Great selection and wonderful staff. Not cheap, but top quality. Browsing around the store can be harmful to your wallet.

Love this place. Select your item on the in house computer. Print your order. Take a number. Take it to the sales counter. Simple. Easy. Fast.

Lee Valley Tools is a Canadian tradition if you are a tool junkie. They have built a loyal customer following by stocking fine quality woodworking tools, hardware, gifts, gardening tools, gadgets and equipment. Product ordering is available online as well as in their showroom stores. You can also order their free product catalogues and spend hours browsing through the colourful pages. Lee Valley also provides instructional classes in their showroom locations but register soon as they are using oversubscribed.

I just don't find Lee Valley that great anymore. Sure they have products that are unique, but most aren't even from Canada. Recently bought a shelf/hook unit to mount on the wall. Made in Bangladesh and came with little 2 inch flat tip screws! How am I going to drive those into a stud and have it support properly? I ended up using my own fasteners. The process of the catalog and taking a number system is getting rather old, and gets annoying having to wait for a computer, then to be served 20-30 mins on a weekend. They need to support more locally made innovations and products. I don't think I will shop here much anymore.
