  Have been going here for yrs. Tiny, Oriental lady, who runs it, is always smiling & friendly! She has excellent PR skills!

  Our family has been taking clothes here for alterations since the stone age. Always friendly, prompt and reasonably priced. A nice asset for the neighbourhood. (The place could stand a coat of paint though.)

  I took my wife's $250 dress in to be cleaned. It had been worn once. When I picked it up they had destroyed the dress and insisted it had been brought in that way. They would take no responsibility whatsoever. Do not take your clothing to this store.

  I took a $1,200 leather coat to Laula's Tailoring to have the sleeves shortened. When I got it back, one sleeve was longer. Lydia and the owner insisted that I pay for the mistake and then bring my coat back another day to be corrected. They'd wave only the extra charge I'd agreed to pay for a same day alteration. I told them I'd pay for the work after it was corrected. This launched a one hour argument, during which I was accused of being a petty thief and a liar. The owner at one point asked me, "If it was my business, would I believe the customer?". Seriously? I live in an area where the average house price is $450,000 and I trusted them with altering a $1,200 coat. Do they really think I traveled into town to rob them of a fee for poor work? They've since called me twice and hung up. Guess I won't be going there again. Check Yelp for a similar complaint.
