  I finally went through and did my surgery on Wednesday and honestly it was the best thing I could've ever done! At the begin I was scared at first but the staff made everything better with the smiles and reassurance that I am in good hands. The surgery it self was quick, painless and life changing Dr.Cohen was great talk me through the whole surgery before I knew it I was done. If I could do it anyone can truly a life changing experience I will never forget!

  This review is only based on my experience of the pre-operative consultation and not the surgery (I will definitely not go here for the surgery). Firstly, I was uncomfortable with their marketing strategy. In fact, when I went on the website to book the appointment, my appointment was “confirmed” before I even clicked on the “confirm” button. And as soon as it was booked, I started getting calls from them. It’s totally unnecessary and off putting. At the appointment, the technician and the eye specialist were both nice and fairly accommodating. I think my biggest problem was that you don’t get to meet the surgeon or know the name of the surgeon who will be operating. I have been to another clinic where the surgeon himself explained all the risks during the consultation. Also, the cheap prices they advertise are totally BS. I was quoted $3300 for the custom lasik with the blade, and $3900 for the all-lasik surgery. Also, they don't even have the decency to include the eye drops! The other clinic I visited quoted $3600 for the all-lasik procedure, absolutely everything included. Plus, I got to meet the surgeon there and the surgeon himself checked my eyes and even let me see the operating rooms including the laser machines. So if I were to go back for the surgery, I would definitely go there instead of Lasik MD. The consultant (I think her name was Amanda) didn’t seem at all qualified to talk to me about the surgery. She wasn’t able to give me any detailed information or statistics about the two procedures. She was a classic salesperson. She tried to book me an appointment for the surgery right away. I think these kinds of sales tactics are really cheap and should not be applied to healthcare. To be honest, I have no idea why people go here when there are clearly better clinics. Must be all that money they spend on marketing.

  The Lasik MD Clinic in Downtown Montreal is great. Their staff is very nice and welcoming, each and every staff i met greeted me with a kind hello. They are very knowledgeable and know what they are saying, which made it very easy to ask them any questions i had. As for the clinic it is very big and well maintained. They have big windows that allow you to take look at Downtown while we are sitting on their comfy leather couch as we wait for our turn. Not to mention, the clinic provides free coffee, cookies and apples which i think is very pleasant and a bonus. My overall experience was phenomenal. I recommend Lasik to anyone considering laser vision correction!

  Getting eye surgery was a life changing decision. I had it a few weeks ago and I am amazed. Never expected to have such a clear vision. From the beginning to end my experience at Lasik Md was wonderful. Employees were welcoming and made me feel comfortable. I was given all the necessary information to make sure I was taking the right decision.

  The LASIK MD Montreal staff is great! From the receptionist to the operating room staff, everyone is very attentive, patient and knowledgeable. Every staff member I encountered make sure all my questions were answered and explained the next steps in detail. They also reassured me by letting me know the procedure was painless and quickly executed. Great experience and I highly recommend the LASIK MD Montreal clinic.
