  Simons is a great department store that has the elements of attractive francophone styling -- things are little different and a lot more fun. Note that this is not just a clothing store. There is a pretty complete home decorating and kitchen section. Simons is a family-owned chain of stores founded in Quebec City. They are gradually expanding across Canada. I feel good about buying from this Canadian business and I like their products.

  I'm so happy that there is finally a Simons in Ottawa. I always have a great experience here. The clothing is very fashion forward, and as someone who is 6'5" and not particularly fond of shopping, I always have an easy time finding something here. There is so much selection spread out into so many sections that it can sometimes be disorienting but you should definitely check it out if you need hip clothes.
