  Terrible place to work , from a former employee at la coupe . If anyone is looking for a job there , be careful!! because the owners (Catherine, mark ) did not pay me my last payroll , and the 60 hours of hard work. They are only interested in stealing from people , either by not paying there employees, or overcharging their clients .worst experience in my life. They are the most hated people in their own salon . That is why in 6 months more then 12 employees left from that salon , never in my life i had seen so many people come to work at a place and not last more then couple of months , always pushy sales ,No products to work with, and terrible management .   Went there with a picture and cut looked OK in the beginning (although styling was bad and hairdresser was clumsy). I paid 75$ plus tax and when I got home, noticed one side was longer than the other, bangs were not done straight and layers were different on each side... Very bizarre cut and looks like a beginner did it. Never going there again. Oh and girl who washed my hair completely wet my back! Urgh! Never again!

  Seriously this place is still open? The owner Catherine should seriously consider seeking professional help. She is not stable. Also beware of how much you are charged. I've heard her say on the phone to one of the receptionist, charge her more I need money. Since then I am very aware of how much i am charged everywhere. Anybody with hands is allowed to work there. The estheticians are a joke. Seriously my 2 yr old daughter filed my nails better. Not joking. And the colorists so awful it's laughable. Some older hairstylist are okay. But would do my own hair before stepping foot in that fraudulent place again.

  I got a fantastic haircut by Nicolas, one of the senior hairstylists at La Coupe (65$), and I absolutely loved it! He's a wonderful and really knowledgeable person; ask him about the history and evolution of hair, style and music in Montreal, and you're in for a real treat! He is unbelievably attentive to your hair requests/needs and utilizes the appropriate techniques to get you exactly what you want. I highly recommend his expertise! :)
