  I would like to highly recommend Richard and Ray and the entire team at Island muffler. This morning I went out to my van to remove my bike rack and the stainless steel bolt holding it in place snapped off at the head. Not thinking island muffler would be open on Saturday, I went to Canadian tire and then U-Haul (where I purchased my trailer hitch). Both companies were unable to help me. I decided to swing by island muffler and was surprised that they were open. Richard got my van up on the hoist within minutes of arriving. For an hour I watched both Ray and Richard blowtorch in hand, try every trick in the book to remove a very stubborn and corroded 4 inch bolt with a broken off head. These guys were amazingly tenacious and would not give up. After an hour I was thinking the worst when they finally succeeded. I first started using island muffler a few decades ago for my old van, and have been consistently impressed with their work ethic and pricing. Richard the owner can always be seen on the front lines, blowtorch in hand instead of moving paper in the office. What many people don't know is that Richard owns a second business. Pretty much any demolition materials you could want are in abundance at the rear of the island muffler building. Everything from paving stones to lumber is for sale at a fraction of the price of buying it new.

  Nice shop, good staff, but pricey custom quotes. You get what you pay for, right?

  Extremely happy with the work they did on the exaust on my jeep. Very well done fast friendly and Jerry you kick but Man!

  A few months ago they installed a new muffler in the morning so I was not late four work. They did a quick repair a few months later when there was an intermittent banging sound. They didn't charge me for it.

  I thought they offered good personable service. I will go again if i need a muffler.
