  Sleezy over priced pawn shop.Do not buy vintage video games here.These people are disgusting slime balls.Pawn Shops should even exist anymore..Go AWAY..Example#1 Super Mario All-stars is $80.00 here..It sells on ebay and every other store in Victoria for $40 or less.#2 xbox 360 for $180..Go on used victoria and but it for $90 with like 25 games included no joke..

  I have been shopping in this place for 6 years, and all I can say is how happy I've been with every purchase I've made. I have spent a lot of money here on old video games. I might not of gathered the amount of goodies I have today if it weren't for them. Please continue to read because other people's experiences don't reflect the reality I've had. I want to set these negative reviews straight here. First, and foremost... they are a pawn shop. They deal with used items, and these items are open to negotiation. All of it is. Many people issuing warnings to other readers are forgetting these vital points. There is markup on everything, and it's your job as a customer to play ball with them. It's a shell game. Either you play, or lose. It's true of all pawnshops, and vendors of used items. It's common knowledge of haggling to also be willing to be haggled. It's a give and take exchange you are embarking in when you enter these places. If you lack the understanding of this, then it's your fault, and not theirs. If you plan on selling anything to them, or any used place. It's up to you to do your research as well. If you go in there without knowing your own item, then you cannot complain when they offer a low ball, and you accept. It's called business. Selling used items to them requires a bit more skill. They will offer you a baseline, and it's your job to haggle high at this point. Your goal is to find a common ground where everyone agrees. I haven't sold them a thing. I just buy old video games. I've been a solid paying customer, and I return because not only do they know me by name, but we've got a friendship going. In fact, their prices of old video games are far better than the game stores. At least I can haggle Island Collateral. The game stores almost never budge, and that pisses ME off. It's why they don't see my money nearly as often as Island Collateral does. So do yourself a favour and don't let the inexperienced consumers give you an opinion. Take my advice, and learn how to negotiate business transactions. If you're unable to do it, then honestly, you kind of do deserve to be swindled. Blunt is how I roll.

  This place sucks balls! Pretty funny though, some of their used junk is priced more than if you were to buy new! Super unfriendly staff. I walked out. Never going back, horrible place. 1

  Awesome group of guys. They helped me remove a disc from my PS4 that was stuck and they got it out for me. Now it works just fine again and they did it for free. Most places would of charged me a minimum amount at least but they did it of the kindness of their hearts thank you so much!

  Jeremy knew exactly what I wanted and I really got what I needed, he is a true gentlemen and its a first class business with amazing staff. I have been dealing with Jeremy for over 10 years and they have never treated me wrong, highly recommend the pawn shop for classic video games. I have always felt like I am treated like a valued customer. They do however need to change their name to: "ISLAND AWESOMENESS & SALES" Because that is how you will feel after buying video games from them.
