I have nothing but amazing things to say about this restaurant. I was quite taken aback to read negative reviews. I have always had wonderful experiences here. With children, without children, on date night, or just out with friends. The bathroom is in the basement, like many establishments with smaller footprints. So if accessibility is a concern, I would call ahead to see if there have been any changes made to the building. The food is remarkable! I am a picky eater and everything has always been scrumptious. (even if I've had to ask for an amendment due to food allergies.) All of the food is made fresh, so it may take longer than a fast food restaurant... because it's not fast food.

Really liked this establishment. The owner talked to us about how he originally wanted to be an olive farmer and how they pick their olives just before pressing. We had a set menu and everything was delicious and fresh. The serving staff was very attentive and quick without hovering. The washrooms, although very clean and comfortable, were downstairs. Not accessible if stairs are a difficulty. The entrance is up a few stairs also. I will be going back to try other offerings from the menu. Loved this place!

OMG what a wonderful experience which began with the waiter, Glenn, serving the women first. It is rare to find a restaurant familiar with proper serving etiquette in Ottawa. The proprietor, Craig Pederson, had arranged for a special menu for my group of 16 to give us a cross section of flavours and textures of their menu. And they did not skimp on the fresh garlic in their Caesar salad. I am not a dessert person, however, their tiramisu was delightful. It was not the customary flavour. It was made with a different liquor and therefore did not taste as sweet. Oh and their cappuccino....yummy. Thanks Glenn for serving us so well! The decor is a basic corner family style with a Cheers type bar. However, the food and service is a 5 star. Definitely worth a repeat visit.

Great Italian food! Never had a bad meal. They have Calabogie Brewing's Brown Cow here!

Great service and reliably tasty food. The grilled Calimari is a favourite. Glenn is very knowledgeable when it comes to your wine - ask him what is new and sumptuous.
