  Room had a bit of a musty/stale smell. UV filtered water was nice to have. City view. Bathroom was clean. No one assisted me with my bags when I arrived (the outside attendant was not present). I later discovered that the attendant was inside watching but did not bother to come out and assist me. I had to make 2 trips to get all my luggage from the taxi. Can't beat the location though, very close to Stuart Street. This was my first experience with Hyatt. I'd heard it was very high end, but it turned out quite average. Great location but I wouldn't consider this the best in this price range.

  Beautiful hotel with newly renovated rooms that are fantastic! I've never seen such large televisions in a hotel room. The beds were an absolute dream, and the bathroom was gorgeous! My only complaint is that the bathroom didn't have any towel bars to hang your towels on.

  Renovated rooms are excellent! Meeting room space is modern and looks great. Staff are very friendly and helpful. A great stay.

  I went to the Hyatt for a conference. It is a great building. I was impressed with the staff. There were a lot of people trying to get through to one of the events and I remember seeing a staff member moving a piece of furniture out of the just to make it easier for the crowd to get through. It was a simple thing but showed that they care about making sure that there guests have a good experience. It is a great building and was immaculately clean.

  We had our work social event at Hyatt on Saturday. The banquet room was beautifully decorated decorated. They have a good lighting system and many door entries into the room. Very spacious. I think we had about 500 guests in the event. The main course was chicken or beef. The chicken was amazing but the beef was a little dry. We parked at telus convention center and walked to Hyatt. All indoor walking which was nice. Also it was a cheaper place to park for the evening than right at Hyatt, around $5.
