We went for afternoon tea. It came with a large assortment of small amounts of food. Overall I found it enjoyable. It was a very neat historical building adorned with some old historical framed photographs. The food was top notch for what it was.

The customer service here was fantastic. The staff were very accommodating. Both the day and evening staff did their best to make this a pleasant stay. The manor has had some renovations but needs more yet. Very clean and great rates.

Absolutely loved it. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We had originally booked at 2 queens bed room but because we had children with us and a large room was not occupied, they upgraded us to a suite at no charge. We have stayed there a few times now and because of their generous hospitality, that will be the only place we will stay in Victoria from now on. Thank you so much!!!!

Location is great as it's in the habour but at the end so it's quiet. Still in walking distance of downtown and all the sites. Rooms are up to date and bed was comfy. Breakfast has changed from a set buffet to a menu. Breakfast also ends at 10am which is a bit early in my opinion.

If you love "quaint", this is your place. It's right across the street from the Victoria Clipper and a couple of blocks from the Parliament buildings, the Empress Hotel and the harbor. Downtown Victoria begins less than .5 mile from the hotel. The hotel and rooms themselves are clean but the view from our room was that of the building next door, not very scenic. There is no air conditioning but the fan provided by the hotel was adequate. My only complaint is the beds which were very hard with little to no give. A pillow-top or egg carton mattress would've worked wonders. I also had an issue with the pillows. Each bed had two pillows: one VERY soft and the other VERY hard. I would stay here again but ONLY if the beds are upgraded and there was a happy medium with the pillows.
