  Cheapest rate you'll find downtown, and while it's an older hotel that needs some upgrading, it is extremely clean, the staff are super friendly and helpful, and you can't beat the location! Steps from great restaurants, spas and transit. I would stay there again anytime!

  Friendly ans accommodating staff but hotel is a little tired looking. Needs an update. Room was decent size, king bed was clean and comfy. Room also needed a refresh. Recommend for 1 to 2 nights as price is budget friendly.

  Worst place I have ever been to. The room service was horrible it took 2 hours for them to come. And then they brought me the absolute opposite, I asked for more shampoo and they gave me some toilet paper. Honestly this is the worst hotel I have ever been to. This place is even worse they don't even come to clean the room when you are not there. Also the rooms are the worst I wanted to have a suite but I ended up getting just a really cramped up with my family. I was looking for a room at least on the same floor as my cousin. But I was at the 1st floor and my friend was on the top floor. And worst of all all of the people who worked at this Howard Johnson was all depressed and annoyed whenever the manager came by. And also to every one else like they were forced to work here.

  Rustic look to the room. Upgraded to business class and we'll worth it. Room was very spacious. The hotel itself could use some maintenance work but overall the staff was excellent, continental breakfast, and WiFi had no issues. The front door is secured and you need swipe access to gain entry, which is good because it deters prostitution. Best bang for your buck especially for the area!
