  Hotel is located in a convient area (near Union station). The hotel itself is alright with decent meeting spaces. I stayed during renovations so there was no fitness centre or pool just a hotel room with a treadmill in it. My room (basic king) was recently refreshed and had a nice large screen tv. I tried to do work in the evening and couldn't due to the fact there was not enough light to see pretty much anything - the only lamp provided very very little light and pointed directly at the ceiling. Also the coffee station had no plug so you had to move the coffee maker to the desk?!

  I was in town to see a show and was very impressed with the look of the hotel and the lobby. Our room was recently renovated and look beautiful the problem was we requested a king size bed and got a queen. When we contacted the hotel they told us that's what a hotel king size looks like. The worst part was they made us feel like we were uneducated Travelers and we didn't understand that hotel bed sizing is different. The room was extremely warm and the air conditioning did not work. It was difficult to sleep in a small bed and be in a hot room. They did compensate Us by offering us a free breakfast which we very much appreciate it however it was difficult to make up for a long hot night of no sleeping.

  Nicely redecorated rooms. Clean. BUT they don't really have a concept of what a king size bed is. We booked a room with a king bed but this was clearly a queen bed. I called down to the desk and they were adamant it was a king.....nope. Other than that, a very nice hotel at a reasonable price right downtown.

  Very happy with the Novotel. The location was convenient, close to attractions, shopping and the lake. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms are basic but comfortable. The restaurant had a good variety of food on the menu.

  We messed up our check in date by a day. Although they were fully booked they let us park in their parking lot (in downtown Toronto at that). While we were going for dinner they had a last minute cancellation and gave us the room. They were so helpful and went out of their way to help us. The room was very clean. Overall an excellent weekend and will definitely stay again.
