  My husband & I took my Mom to Quebec City for a few days in April and stayed at the Hotel du Vieux Quebec. The staff is friendly, professional and soooo helpful. The hotel itself is modern - rustic, very clean with a lot of extra little perks to make you feel at home. I'd like to thank Angie, Pierrot and a few others who so graciously made us popcorn, found specific places for us, or just took the time to talk to us. I would definitely come back to this lovely hotel.

  I was totally satisfied staying at this place. Clean, cozy, great location, nice staff! Little details they provided us with were great including: lots of movies, water, popcorn, fruits, umbrellas, tea and coffee. A bit slow elevator. If you want the continent breakfast service, book a room directly to the hotel.

  Our go-to accomodations in the old city. Complimentary continental breakast delivered in a cute little picnic basket. Fresh popped popcorn for in-room movies. Lovely, thoughtful little touches everywhere.

  Overall my experience was very positive, the room was kept very clean and well maintained and the staff was especially patient with me and understanding. I appreciated the option to have my morning breakfast delivered earlier than the normal time and the overall green consciousness of the hotel. I loved the water bottles in the room so much that I bought one to take home! However, I was very disappointed with my last day at the hotel. The day before (December 14th) around 10 am I ask the desk to help me with Check out as I had a 6 am flight the next morning, I requested that my breakfast be delivered at 3 am, a wake up call at 3 am as well, and a taxi cab to be ready for me at 4 am. I was very disappointed to find that none of those things happened. No wake-up call, no breakfast, no taxi. Once I got downstairs the front desk did request a cab for me, however, it was another 15 min wait before the cab could arrive making my morning on an empty stomach more stressful than I really needed. I am not as disappointed about the lack of breakfast as I understand that could be hard to arrange but requesting a taxi and a wake-up call for these times does not seem out of the range of any normal hotel duties.

  From the moment my wife and I walked in the door to the moment we left, we could not have felt more welcomed! This was easily one of the best hotel experiences either of us have had. The staff was graciously accommodating. Upon check-in, we were given a map, which the staff thoroughly reviewed with us to make sure we knew the best places to visit. Sites, restaurants, and stores were reviewed for us, so we could make an educated decision on each of our stops. The room was incredible, the breakfast basket was a fantastic touch, and everything was within more than reasonable walking distance. Parking is so close to the hotel, as are so many stores, and restaurants. Being gluten free in the city was not an issue for me either. Plenty of options! After strolling the streets of Quebec each day during our stay, we went back to our room to watch a movie and popcorn was provided by the front desk! My wife and I are looking forward to our next visit already! We cannot wait to return to this perfect hotel.
