  It's a small place, but they have great variety and fair prices with most things. My only gripe about them, is the price they put on some of the older games. Example: A 4 year old game, is still being sold for $45. Where as other games that age are easily in the $20 range. (The game in question being: Pokemon Alpha Sapphire.)

  I purchased roughly 30 ps2 games along with a few ps4 games. The total was over 100$. The older man who I believe goes by the name of “Matt” or “Mike” was noticeably upset that he had to go and find 30 ps2 games. I do not understand this seeing as they have them for sale...if you do not want to spend the time finding the games then why have them for sale? Are they there just to look at? Does the price tag mean nothing? Anyways, when I got home I decided to go through the games to see the condition because I hadn’t thought about it while at the store. I noticed that pretty much all of them had many scratches on them which I figured was fine given the age of the games. I discovered that 7 of them were too scratched to play on the ps2 after attempting to load the games so I brough them back in the day after to have them resurfaced as per their 14 day resurfacing warranty. That same employee said “there is no way these left the store in this condition; you must have done something to them”. I found this comical and replied with a solid “no, out of the 30 games I bought I only brought back 7, if I wanted to give you a hard time I would have brought them all back”. I could tell that he reluctantly proceeded to resurface the games. For 7 games he made me wait almost 2 hours. I most likely will not return to this store because of how the atomosphere was while attempting to purchase some of their products and because I now know they seem reluctant to honour their commitments to customers. I would hate to buy an gaming console such as a PS4 and have it not work and then tell me that within 14 days I damaged it. I have never had such a negative experience at any of the other hock shops in sudbury.

  I don't get why everybody apperenty gets faulty and or broke stuff I've been there many times and every thing I've bought has been perfectly working and the prices are not that bad there are places that charge way more

  We bought an Xbox 360 and found out it was not the version we expected. We had thought we purchased one with lots of memory. We had not tried it as it was bought originally as an upgrade. So when ee tried it we found it had 0 memory. We contacted the store and emp SAR helped us in a very pleasant and cooperative manner. He checked the device and found out that the hard drive had been removed by a previous owner. He then provided us at no cost a storage drive when technically they could have done nothing and got away with this action. So from my 7 year old grandson and myself his GRAMPA thank you SAR for your help and honouring your products. RYAN AND GRSMPA

  If your selling used goods to the hock shop here in Sudbury, they offer fair prices and bargaining with them is simple. On the other hand trying to buy used goods and bargaining with them is difficult they won't budge from the price tag. Some items are way over priced.
