I came here on Friday with two of my girlfriends. I actually have come here before and I recommended it to my two girlfriends to get blowouts. I have to say I will not come back to Her Majesty’s pleasure. First of all it’s only really worth it if you get the groupon - as the hairstyling is mediocre and they get you in and out. I have a stylist Keisha (Black girl with ridiculously big hoop earrings) I told Keisha thoroughly of what I wanted because I have short hair and it’s easy for my hair to come out looking like a six-year-old’s whose mom styled it for church. I wanted my blowout to be edgy instead she made me look like curly Sue. Because of this I told Keisha specifically twice of what I wanted but what did I get exactly what I didn’t want. Keisha did not ask me if I liked my blowout or if I was happy and quickly rushed me out of the chair because she said she had the next client coming in. I complained at the front desk and told them that I wasn’t happy but the gave me some half washed apology and again when I sent an email I got the same response. I will be back again and I recommend that you save your money and go somewhere cheaper where to give a little more thought to the clients satisfaction.

Quite unfortunate that the place is so cute, but the service and employees that work there are so miserable. I've been here a few times for private events, and the workers can't even bare to crack a smile. They make you feel like them performing the service (their job) on you is so inconvenient to them. I can see where the miserable attitude trickles down from as their manager (I think her name is Sarah?) was just as rude, unfriendly, and unable to crack a smile. I walked in and told her I was waiting for a friend to arrive, to which she frowned and questioned what I was waiting for? Mumbled a few more passive questions, to which I didn't understand the point of, not looking me in the eye as she spoke, and then she just turned away. Also passively mumbled that I was not allowed to take photos of the space because I "didn't have permission" of the owners? Couldn't take her seriously as she couldn't look me in the eye to speak, so I walked myself out of that weird and uncomfortable situation.

Don't waste your time or money! For the amount you pay, you are paying for their rent rather than the treatment. Me and my friends all got pedicures; We thought it would be a higher end sitting arrangement thinking you're paying $50 (plus tax) a pedicure...wrong, from uncomfortable wooden lawn chairs to the unsteady bucket of cold water and plastic tray to hold your feet. You may be thinking, maybe the treatment was long and makes up for it...NOPE! It took my person less than 20 minutes for my whole pedicure. Once we were all completed, they rudely told us to move without showing us where to go sit. They just wanted the space for more business and since they grabbed our $50 within 20 minutes, they didn't care about the customer experience. For anyone who is considering to go here, I suggest to find a place where you can get all that and a bag of potato chips for $65 (which includes tip; shellac manicure & pedicure). Save your money honey.

I was here about 1 month ago and did not have a good experience. I was expecting a really well done manicure based on the price but ended up with the worst manicure I've ever had. My friend got a regular manicure while I got a shellac manicure. Both of our appointments felt very rushed and not at all like the relaxing experience we were expecting. My friends nails had multiple air bubbles that we noticed just after the appointment and it was a sloppy job overall. My friend's nail polish had completely peeled off within 1 week and looked terrible. I had gone in with a colour in mind and hoped that since this spa was more costly than others, they would have a bigger selection but they didn't. I showed the manicurist a picture of the colour I was looking for and asked her to show me the shades most similar to what I wanted. She showed me 4 different shades of blue and I picked the one that looked most similar. I pointed out to her after the first coat that it looked nothing like the shade I wanted and she said it would look much better after the second coat, however even after the second coat it was far from the colour I wanted and I really wasn't liking it. I asked her again for any other similar shades of blue, this time she went and showed me 4-5 additional colours and there were two that were much closer to what I had been looking for. I picked a new colour and she applied a third coat on top of the previous colour she had put on. I was expecting her to at least do one more coat of the new colour I picked but she didn't. Right after leaving, I noticed that you could still see my nails underneath the polish because she had not done enough coats or had done coats that were way too thin. To make matters worse, my shellac manicure began chipping off after just over 1 week and by the end of the second week it had chipped off even more and looked terrible. I've never had a shellac manicure that lasted less than a month (usually mine last about a month and a half or until my nails grow out) so this was definitely not what I expected, especially since I paid so much more than I would have at other salons. I ended up having to go to a nail salon near me to have them remove the shellac completely after 2 weeks because it looked so bad. So after all that, I had to go and spend even more money. It would've saved me time and money if I had just gone to a cheaper salon to begin with. The concept of the salon is great but the execution is definitely not there. I would imagine it would be better to go for pedicures than manicures. If you're looking for a lasting manicure that looks good or are getting your nails done for a special occasion, I definitely don't suggest going here. Again, definitely not worth the money you're spending. I reached out to the spa to inform them of my experience and give them a chance to try and remedy the situation before I posted my review but I haven't heard back from them so unfortunately it seems they also don't care about customer service.

A friend and I had an awful experience getting signature manicures. We arrived early to our appointment on a Saturday afternoon and the place was a zoo. Shortly after our appointment time, the lady doing my nails (Young) was free and ushered me quickly to a seat. There wasn't an open seat for my friend beside me, even though we had booked the appointment for 2 people. My friend was told she would have to wait until a seat opened up. I sat down and when Young found out I hadn't picked a polish colour yet she was clearly irritated, saying "what, you haven't picked a colour yet? Okay I will help you." I felt pressured to pick a colour quickly, and when I was trying to decide she told me I needed to hurry up or her next appointment would be late. You could tell they are on a very tight schedule and have no room for someone to spend a few minutes picking a colour. I then asked if I could upgrade and get a shellac manicure instead. I was told this wasn't possible since she had an appointment after me (even though a lady sat down after me, got a shellac manicure, and left before I was finished - shellac does not take longer than a regular manicure). To try and catch up and ensure I was done within half an hour, Young rushed through my entire manicure. She didn't put a base coat, got so much nail polish around my cuticles, and even got polish on my watch. When she was finished I was told I had to move right away so she could start her next appointment (the total time I actually got to sit with my friend was probably 15 minutes). I had to move to another area and wait there. They also don't provide you with fans or anything to help dry your nails, so you're stuck waiting there until they are completely dried. In addition to all of this we had ordered drinks and my friend's rose was flat. To pay $40 for a regular manicure and have it rushed and done sloppily is a complete rip off. I figured since I was paying that much for a manicure it would be a relaxing experience and the customer service would be great. This was not the case at all. It was stressful and a waste of money. I will not be going back and will be sure to share my experience with my friends.
