::Great spot for a walk, along the canal and beside a fantastic park.

::Hartwell's Locks is part of the Rideau Canal system and a Unesco World Heritage Site. In spring, summer and fall you can see the locks at work. Overall,it is a very calm place with picnic tables where you can watch the world go buy and where no one is in a rush. Because it is virtually impossible to get there by car, save a few parking spots, the area is very quiet and green. It edges on the Arboretum.
Joshua Allen
::Lots of fun activities to do in the summer, or just a quiet spot to watch boats go by.
Pat Crosscombe
::Always fun to watch the boats go through the lock.
JDE
::Location, quiet spot, intimate and enjoyable mostly in spring summer and fall. Location for Entrance to Canal for Skating in winter when Canal is open.
