We stayed at 150 sherbrooke in the main level suite. The suite has potential to be very comfortable. I specifically asked if there was a hair dryer in the suite because I read reviews of the hair dryer not working, so go to use the hair dryer and no heat. I phone Paul and he said he would bring me one. He showed up at my door after 1 1/2 hours later and said all the stores in Winnipeg are closed, I had to tell him to buy one at Shoppers Drug Mart. The bed didn't have sheets, it had mattress cover then a red thin blanket that should be used over a sheet and a duvet, when I asked him where the sheet were, he said thats the European way. So, he told me to climb a large staircase and get my own sheet and make the bed. Had to ask for towels and facecloths (didn't get facecloths) The place wasn't very clean, there was a broken towel rack in the bathroom, the doors are wood and not very secure, the suite had a cigarette odour, there were cigarette butts all over the ground at the front door. There were people outside smoking and drinking. The tenants were respectful but the building is old and noisy. I wished I didn't have to write reviews like this, hoping my next journey will be more comfortable. Sheets/towels had fragrances. $90.00/nt

Dirty owner. Misrepresented the legality of renting in the province of Manitoba. No landlord can charge more than half the cost of one months rent as a deposit. He has several properties

The room was very clean and the house was very quiet. The only downside was the lack of linens (towels, face cloths or even hand towels) in the bathroom. The bed had a new mattress but the frame was old and squeeked every time i moved.

Outside motion light constantly going off and on. No air conditioning. Deadbolt on the back door not installed correctly. Stairs down to the washroom a little to small and to narrow. Great place to go if you want to spend a night and save a dollar. But for me staying over 7 days in the heat and humidity not so much.
