  I have tried a few different cleaning companies and Green Maids is by far a cut above the rest. Highly recommended

  I have never in my life written a review but 3/4 months ago I promised Green Maids Canada that I was going to come here to give them a good review because of the BIG HELP that they provided me with my Move out Cleaning. It happened that I had scheduled my Move out cleaning with a different company that I prefer not to mention the name, but they cancelled my appointment without previous notice just the day before I had to move out (I was not surprised, It had already happened to me but I never thought it was going to happen again). I am mother of twins and I did not have time to clean all the house by myself and unfortunately my husband could not help much as he was recovering from surgery. I kept calling desperately every single cleaning company in Vancouver letting them know what happened to me and that I have twins etc to see if they could feel pity for me but none of them did. All of them told me that they were full, others that you have to call two days in advance, or that for the end of the months there is usually no space etc. etc. Lately, I found this company Green Maids, I called and told them my situation. They were the ONLY ones in the whole Vancouver area that felt compassion for me. I do not know how they handled it to help me but the sweet customer service gentleman told me that he was going to call me right back asap and YES he did 5 min after. He finally told me that he managed to open a space for me. I was like oh thanks thanks thanks!!! Isn't this Wonderful? When I thought I was ruined, they did all they could to help me. Now if we talk about the quality of the service, for me Green Maids is the best company I've had (there are some that do the same job for double price). I consider they are very cheap. My Walls were so dirty bc of my kids but they made them look new (they did not clean, they made new walls). Because, I moved to a bigger house, I will need regular service and through this post I want to tell green maids that the doors of my house are open for them to become my regular house cleaning. Advice: My advice not only for cleaning companies but also for every single company, is that they should stop being so negative. If there is a will, there is way. If they want to help a customer, there is a way, If not it is because they do not care.

  I would give them A for communication and follow up however the cleaning itself is horrible. I paid $320 for 4 hours but I ended up recleaning myself. I am a landlord and will definitely not use this service again or recommend it to anyone. Two young girls showed up, seemed like they were sisters. One girl practically watched the other girl clean. They finished the townhouse in 4 hours. I should say 1 girl finished in 4 hours so if the 2nd girl did something, I could have paid less. They were not professional workers and because they walked barefeet, their feet were black and they continued to walk all over my carpets with it. When they said they were done, I had to get them to reclean a lot of things that should have been known to someone with experience. The sink had stains that came right off, the dust on all the curtains and window sills and when I asked her to wipe down the baseboards, she said, "oh I thought we got that with the vacuum". She didn't even lift the curtains up where the balcony entrance was because if she did, she would have seen all the dust and dirt on it. I had to tell her to wipe down the fridge and when I asked her about the stove, she said "you need something special to wipe that material down, we dont have that on us." I also had to ask her to wipe down the stair railing and the dirty marks on the door. They don't bring special cleaning supplies. They bring just a spray bottle and a towel. I have laminate floors and you don't drench water on laminate floors. The bath tub was still spotty which I cleaned myself with a Mr. Clean magic eraser.

  This service provider was timely, professional and helped us through a really stressful time. They showed up, boarded the house to secure in, which I hadn't even thought of. Then provided a clear, complete quote, coordinated with my insurance provider and took great care of us and our belongings. I hope none one else has to experience a fire but if you unfortunately do, call this company.

  I have just had a very upsetting encounter with Green Maids Canada. They accepted a cleaning job from me at $130 fixed price, thereby blocking other cleaners from bidding on the deal (through a 'cleaning service' bidding portal). In the small print, which I did not read until 2 days later, I find out that they accepted it but anticipate the bill to be $250. This is poor business tactics. They should have proposed a higher price first of all, and not accepted the business with an underhanded pricing structure.. Be up front Green Maids, not underhanded. I am not impressed.
