  $14 for six (not joking) waffle fries...there is a mcdonalds on the same street that is more worth your time and money

  We went there on a Saturday night after reading some good but dated reviews. From server to food to music, the whole experience was average. I would not recommend this place for a fun night out, only as a last resort if you cannot find anywhere else to go...but least the drinks were good!

  I have always received GREAT and personal service here. Dominique takes care of us and is a PLEASURE to deal with. This kind of service is what makes me come back. Great personal service is lacking in this city big time, GRAIN delivers! The drinks are awesome, it’s a little on expensive side but I don’t mind spending a bit more and enjoying myself. I do not expect great things from Hotel Bars usually, but this is a true gem. Great for a chill drink after work, business meeting or date. Worth the check out for sure, thank you GRAIN and Dominique.

  This place is located at the Hyatt in downtown and right next to Burrard skytrain station. Very convenient to get to if you're traveling by public transit but probably difficult to find parking if you are driving. We got here on a Friday afternoon at around 4:30 and already had a reservation. There weren't too many people they're at the time but it soon got pretty busy closer to 6. The servers were pretty busy but were kind and considerate. We had a group of about 10 and there didn't seem to be enough tables or chairs to accommodate such a large group. We had to sometimes sit two to a chair and kind of just squeeze in. I can't believe that there wouldn't be any space larger for groups. The appetizers we ordered we're not bad. I really liked the pizza.
