  I spent some time at the speed skating oval this afternoon with friends. The went a lot of people but even if there was there would have been lots of room both on the ice and in the building. The ice was in great condition much better than some of the other free rinks in the city.

  Very clean, organized and helpful people. It's an RV park mainly but still nice. The tents were close to a fence and a road side, but it was fairly quiet so that wasn't so bad. Maybe a little pricey for what it was(the tenting location and surroundings were very close to everyone)... but we got there last minute and just got one of the last few spots available.

  I came to spend the night with 2 of my kids, in a tent. There is a lot of greenery to provide privacy to RVs but not so much for tents. I was given a site right next to a fence separating my site from a school yard and the site right next to me was separated by nothing. We had no privacy at all and that's what bothered me the most, next to the music that played ALL NIGHT from the office. The playground, the washrooms and the office were all conveniently located within walking distance. The rate is very affordable which makes it a 3 star deal for me. More privacy and quiet would make it even better.

  The main bathrooms and showers are definitely a camp ground luxury. Not sure if the secondary washroom building is going to be rebuilt but right now with them missing there will be wait times to access the main showers on busy days. If your staying in a tent, unfortunately you might want ear plugs because the new Circle Drive Bridge is quite close and the rumbling of cars crossing the rumble strips on the bridge does not stop all night. The first night with a good Breeze was reasonably quiet, however the second night was calm and not only did I wear earplugs but I also ran an extension cord and a large fan to drown out the hum of the cars. However that is not a complaint this is a campground in in the middle of the city. we are fortunate that the campground it is as quiet as it
