  Pleasant surprise all round. Exceeded our expectations of Four Points. Friendly, helpful staff. Spacious. Would return for sure.

  It took a long time until our room was ready, but other than that hiccup, we enjoyed our stay. It's a nice building with comfortable beds, great showers, and nice amenities. The gym, in particular, is small but powerful - including most machines one would want (two treadmills, two ellipticals, one stationary bike, one pull-up station, and an admirable range of dumbbells). The hotel has a fantastic location; it's close to many attractions, restaurants, pubs, and - of course - the waterfront! The only real complaint I have is that the ground floor is marketed as the "2nd floor." The lobby is technically underground, so if you're on the 2nd floor, as we were, you're technically on the first floor... which is never ideal. The view from our room was a little eerie; a deserted courtyard with a building that looks like it was abandoned mid-construction, and remnants of what appear to be stage props. It looks like something that would serve as inspiration for an upcoming horror film. We kept our window closed for the majority of our stay. Otherwise, it's a nice hotel that I'd recommend! We had a nice, quiet stay.

  Getting our room was a bit of a challenge, we had to wait well beyond 3pm to check-in. But the rooms themselves are nice and the mattresses in particular are fantastic! To boot, the hotel is in a great location. We're really enjoying our stay thus far!

  Stayed here while in town on business. Very friendly staff at the front desk. Good sense of humour too, which is great. Room and bathroom were both clean and fresh. BIG screen tv in the room was a bonus for watching TSN highlights while working late at night. Hotel bar has happy hour I think Mon to Fri? Very cheap pints of Keith's. (Brewery is basically next store. It will be the freshest you've ever had!)

  I am always pleased when I stay at a Four Points by Sheraton, and this Halifax location was no exception. If anything the staff had about them an East Coast comforting vibe and was more pleasant and helpful than you would expect. Conveniently located downtown in walking distance from anything you'd need there is really nothing I can complain about, with one exception. I'd go back in a flash, but would ask to be put in a room facing Salter Street or the courtyard. I was on the 4th floor Hollis Street, and have to say I noticed the late night truck traffic.
