Notch8 for afternoon tea. Excellent service. Wonderful food. Cozy atmosphere. Scones and cream is to die for. Coronation chicken was great too. The price is a little steep but worth the indulgence for a special occasion.

Room was great. Clean, comfortable. Easy check in. Great shower. I was very satisfied on this business trip. Location is great, close to transit. A few too many people asking for money outside after hours.

We stayed at the hotel at the beginning of the year for a stay-cation. Since we live out of the city it is nice to stay Downtown and enjoy Vancouver. We usually stay at Fairmont a few times a year as a treat. Every stay we have had so far has been great. The staff are always friendly and will go out of their way to say hello in passing.

The hotel was great. Really great. The room was perfect with everything you'd expect from a 5 Star hotel. The check in and out was seemly and enjoyable. The hotel staff went out of their way to assist and provide excellent service. We usually stay at the Four Seasons across the street but we'll be frequent guests at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver from now on.....oh, and the lobby dogs are so entertaining. So much fun!

What a gorgeous experience. We went on a whim, my husband, daughter and I. They were super friendly and very accommodating. We enjoyed the restaurant downstairs where the staff were really kind, the food was mostly wonderful. (I found the risotto bland and the scallops over flavored, but my husband LOVED his rib steak dinner and smoky appetizer). The convenience of the shops downstairs and the art gallery across the street made in a comfortable place to spend time and relax. My daughter and husband enjoted the pool as well (while I stayed and enjoyed a book and a bath). It was a lovely weekend away.
