Dr. Geddo's service is refreshingly unconventional. She is patient centred and performs her work with attention and quality to detail unparalleled by many others in the profession. I came to her originally two years ago with a severely complicated case of dental trauma that numerous specialists across Canada were unable to resolve. Without her care and commitment to quality I would not have the confident smile that I wear today. I am eternally grateful for her services and look forward to visiting her office now for each check-up is a relaxing recommitment to myself and my oral health. Thank you Dr. G!

Deanna is a lovely, wonderful and kind lady. She's always decorated in the most beautiful colors and I love the vibe of her space. The music is wonderful, uplifting. A visit to her office is like visiting the spa, or better. She surrounds herself with the most beautiful plants. The work she does is very non-intrusive, she caters so sensitive clients, she is considerate to what's going on in your mouth, which is unlike many other dentists I have visited. I have no complaints at all regarding her work, I've had probably $5000 worth of work done with her and am happy with the quality of most of it. On the flip side - The billing could be handled a lot better, pre-authorizations are often missed, not followed up on, you have to track her down to see when the claim payment will be completed, etc. She does not have an assistant, so you are her dental assistant while you are in the chair. Her prices are very high compared to other dentists and she has explained this is because of the various processes that she uses and the quality of materials that she uses. On average, almost twice as expensive. At every single appointment, you wait at least 30 minutes to see her, this is consistent. Not complaints, just stating the facts as I see them. I'm grateful for the work she's done to date.

This was hands down the worst and most traumatizing dental experience I have ever had. Before (and after) Deanna Geddo, all of my experiences have been great. My issues with her are as follows- she applied numbing cream to my gums without asking for permission while giving me a cleaning. I am the type of person who wants to connect with my body and feel what is happening, not have it numbed out (even with fillings). I have never had any other dentist administer numbing agents without checking in first. Secondly, she is just rough - which is funny, because she's markets herself as a 'holistic' dentist but she is the least holistic and sensitive dentist I have ever encountered. Thirdly, I have the slightest chip on a front tooth, which most people and dentists don't even notice. She kept mentioning she could fix it and fill it in for me, but I could leave it if I thought it added quirkiness to my appearance. She kept mentioning this in a very passive aggressive way- stating that I would only leave it as is, to look "goofy" and "special". I have asked other dentists about it since, and they have stated that the chip is so small and there is so much enamel that there is absolutely no reason to fix it. LASTLY AND MOST HORRIFICALLY- I got her to fill a (in her words) "very tiny" cavity for me. I let her know that I DID NOT WANT any freezing, or numbing agents. At one point into the drilling she hands me a mirror and excitedly says, "Look, I just keep drilling and drilling and you don't feel pain. I have never seen anything like this. It's so amazing, I don't want to stop. I just want to keep going and see if you'll feel pain." I looked in the mirror and to my horror she had cratered out a huge portion of my tooth. Yes, she was literally getting off on unnecessarily drilling me, just for the sake of it, and wanting to keep going to see if I would feel pain. Super creepy experience. Luckily I got out of there and obviously never went back. I have found a great, honest, sensitive dentist, but am so appalled by Geddo's treatment. Seriously a little haunting.
