  Very poor looking photos, colors were washed out and dull. Went back a few times with different photos but the same result. Took same pics to Costco and they turned out much better (clear, crisp, bright color), and at a fraction of the price of Don's.

  I had a warranty problem before a trip. They gave .e a new loaner even though it wasn't covered by my plan. I couldn't have gotten better service. I wouldn't hesitate to buy my next camera from them

  Good place for general camera equipment and supplies. Still carries enough darkroom chemical to keep things running. Can’t complain much, good people and typical costs.

  Had a fantastic experience and need to send a thanks to Allan at Don's Photo in Saskatoon. He helped educate me on the pros of using a full-frame sensor camera and showed me the ins and outs of it. Even with the product I wanted being out of stock, it was no problem to put my name on back order and even ship it to me free of charge. When the time comes to finally upgrade, I'll be heading to Don's.

  Don's Photo Saskatoon is excellent. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable with the gear they sell. They are also not afraid to offer their opinion if asked - that is very helpful when you are faced with dry technical stats on various products. On more than one occasion they have helped me import equipment from Europe and Japan. They kept me apprised of the status and made regular calls to ensure that everything was moving along. I am a co-owner of a local photography studio (Picture Perfect Portraits) and I have personally recommend Don's Photo to walk-in and phone customers who are looking for services that we do not offer or for equipment sales. If you want to get an idea of their professionalism/business model just stand around and listen to the staff interact with customers. They try to understand what the customer's photographic goals are.They are not just trying to sell the most expensive gear - they do not need to, they clearly believe in long-term relationships with customers. Try buying a camera at a big box store and then have the staff take half and hour (or longer) with you as they show you how to use it and get the most out of it. No one at a big retailer is going to do that. Highly recommended.
