  Great old school ambiance. Bartenders are very competent and will make any classic drink for you. Specialty drinks are also super nice and food menu is great. This has now become my go to place when I am downtown. Whether it is only for a drink or a full bistro style meal.

  Love my big bone marrow dish! The staff is super friendly, he suggested a good menu to us for trying new things out and he did addressed clearly about the cooking time of the dishes, so we know what and how long we are waiting for. I am the one who loves details in service, and they know how to approach me properly and... Friendly, as well as a beautiful old Victoria accent place. So 5 stars it is.

  Love this restaurant. Not an extensive menu, but every dish we’ve tried tastes really good. You can tell they use fresh ingredients and everything is made from scratch. My faves are: the cornish hen, beets salad & the homemade ginger ale is a must. My only disappointment is no kids below 16 allowed, because of the bar. Didn’t know that until I had my baby and tried to book a reservation. Oh yeah it’s better to book in advance, usually packed for dinner!

  Stumbled upon this place, and was very excited when I saw the bar. Lots of top shelf liquor and a very comprehensive cocktail list. Friend ordered the absenthe and I ordered an Old Fashioned. Both drinks were fantastic, great taste, wish I had more time to try a few more drinks. Ordered the Meat Ploughman's platter, and all the meat was tasty. Not too fatty, and the sauces that went with it complemented them perfectly. Servers were all very friendly, nice to chat with.
