::This morning I tried to make a reservation for a package at the Coast Hotel in Calgary. Apparently my package selection did not save and I ended up booking just a regular rate. The hotel emailed me to let me know and asked me to re-book. When I went online to re-book, the rate that was originally advertised for 2 nights was now the rate for 1 night. When I inquired with the hotel they denied that the listing even said the rate I tried to book at, which I find extremely disrespectful. My guess is that there was a mistake on the website that they were alerted to once I tried to book ( I had made some notes on the reservation that let them know what package I was trying to book). They corrected it before asking me to re-book. I tried calling the central reservations line and they said they can only honour it if I took a screenshot, which of course I did not do because I thought I booked it. I am extremely disappointed in the customer service and the fact that they are trying to make it sound like i am making up a rate, or incompetent at reading when a rate is per package or per night. Even if I was, I would expect more respectful communication.

::The food has been amazing during my stay! The Canadian pizza and the Coast burger were so tasty! The staff is so friendly and kind by the way. Would be happy to stay here again. Looking forward to the updated rooms under renovation because the only draw back was the overly warm room.

::I'm rating their conference centre facilities. The rooms and furnishing are worn but still in decent shape. Bathrooms are kept clean. The catering service they use is good, the food that they offered for lunch was delicious. I was not happy with the snow removal in the parking, people usually don't arrive in snow boots on a conference event.

::My in-laws have raved about the brunch at the Coast Plaza Hotel for years, but I haven't been able to join them until this past Sunday - - I was very impressed by the wide range of items: - From your traditional eggs/ bacon/ sausage fare to a selection of (-all 3-) pancakes, waffles and french toast; to a vast array of salads, and a seafood selection (hot and cold) that was unexpected and very impressive. My one regret is that I ate too much to fully enjoy what has to have been one of the best spreads I've seen on the dessert table... (-I guess that I'll just have to go back-) :) Food aside- The staff were very professional, friendly (-and quick to collect your used plates to allow you to maintain your momentum!) I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK, and I look forward to it already. - - Great Job, CPH&CC!

::We came to Calgary to see my father in the Peter Lougheed Centre. We greatly appreciated how this location was able to accommodate us on short notice, and before check in times. We highly recommend this location. The front desk is friendly and pleasant. The room we got was very clean, had a luxurious feel, with great decor. The beds were extremely comfortable. Great bathroom also, lots of hot water, and great water pressure. Absolutely quiet. Everything was so perfect. We will for sure come back again in our near future. This location has tons of stores and restaurants surrounding it.
