::I really believe clocktower has come a long way since the last time I went. The food was great and the service was good too. They've started doing some fusion foods as well as the old classic pub food should you prefer that. The beer choice was also solid.

::The raspberry wheat beer was really good, the service was great! 4 stars because even though the food was good, it wasn't really standout. We got the Kimchi fries and while the topping was delicious, the fries were basic, generic fries and they were a big part of the dish. Same with the piggy sandwich, the toppings were delicious but the chicken itself was a little tough and chewy.

::Had great tasty lunch for reasonable price. Loved the meat loaf and the burger was also good. The decor is slightly outdated. The beers are average. Would rate it 3.5, but bumping it up to 4 for good food.

::A small group of us went here for a couple of aftet dinner drinks. The Waiter had a great sense of humour which made our time there that much more enjoyable. We will go back to this location and try the food next time. The only reason it didn't get 4 stars was due to the lack of parking.

::Saturday night in Ottawa, Winterlude in full swing, and Toronto Maple Leafs vs Ottawa Senators on the bid screen. The beer -craft beer - was cold and flowing, The barkeep was a treasure trove of knowledge and guided us to several great beers. And when he missed, he made up for it with another great selection. You meet interesting people in pubs. The night we were there was no exception. Great conversations, lots of laughs. A great place to spend an evening in Ottawa and within easy walking distance of my hotel, the Westin - while I attended the Manning Conference. My friend and I ordered some fries and they were very good. It was only after the food was delivered that we outwardly began to cheer for the Leafs. No one order food after declaring they are fans of the Leafs when they are in Ottawa. :) Friendly, great service, good food, interesting people, and within walking distance of most hotels. Nothing nicer than a walk through the Nation's Capital in the snow after the bars close! Ottawa is a beautiful place! Clocktower, worth a stop for a beer!
