  I state this without prejudice but I was lied to right from the get go,concrete was #$$%%$ needs replacing after 8 yrs, shingles on garage and house are done,need replacing, plumbing needed $5000.00 remedial work.Call me before you build with this group

  My husband and I recently built a house with City Core Developments. It was a labour of love and the biggest investment of our lives. We entered into this project with fear and trepidation but are now so happy to report that we absolutely love our house and felt supported by City Core staff along the way. Although we had heard stories from friends and colleagues about their frustrating experiences with other builders, we now counter their stories with a feeling of success from our point of view. What stood out for us was the attitude of the City Core team to hear what was important to us, discuss our concerns (or ignorance) about the process, and the “make it happen” response when we wondered about yet another idea that we had. While we had many questions along the way, we were consistently treated with openness, patience and respect. Our project managers were exemplary in their insight, experience, non-judgmental and timely responses to our requests. The other thing that stood out for us was the larger “team” that City Core had developed partnerships with. From the architect, designers, to finishers and electricians, we were impressed with both the quality of work and their interest in incorporating our thoughts, preferences and “wouldn’t it be nice if…” suggestions. As we were new to the process of building a house, we often had homework to do, and more thinking and imagining to process following meetings with various trades. We felt supported and encouraged along the way and were excited to see our ideas and dreams take shape. And as we were firmly committed to our budget, it was important to us to find creative ways to achieve the ideas we had without compromising our bottom-line. We were adamant about this, and between our own research and support from our City Core team members, we found many ways to balance between our ambitious goals and the reality of our budget. We now live in a home where countless details reflect my husband, myself and our two children (also recruited in the process). From the layout, to the finishings and the follow-up support after we moved in, we continue to be delighted with the nicest house we have ever lived in. Friends and family who come to visit or stay with us continue to delight in the many thoughtful details that took shape along the way and made this house a reflection of our family. Based on our experiences, we would recommend City Core Developments to anyone wishing to build a custom-home in Calgary. We are happy that we did.

  I highly recommend Citycore developments to anyone who wants to build their dream home and get true value for their money. My husband and I sourced out many custom builders before finally deciding on City core and we both are so very happy we did. We felt so comfortable and informed along the way, from the design and throughout the build process, the experience was amazing. The Employees are very friendly and so quick to help you with anything you need. Our Home is absolutely amazing and I don’t have one bad thing to say…. A big thank you, to our foreman Dave and to Heidi and the operation team for doing an outstanding job and truly delivering on all the commitments. City core went above and beyond. I highly recommend

  Very bad service, and lack of respect. They damaged the outer door of our stainless steel over, and would no own up to the damaged.
