Visiting from Seattle, my family and I went to see a Saturday afternoon matinee. After about 10 minutes into the movie, my wife and I realized that movie was not appropriate for our children (we should have researched it better). As we exited the theater, a kind gentleman (the manager?) inquired what was wrong and we told him that we made the mistake of taking our kids to the show that we didn't feel it was appropriate. He was very helpful and let us know that it was no problem and that we could get a refund if we would like (or see another current show). Great service and attitude!

This theatre is great ever since they installed the new recliner seating. My only issue is that sometimes the sounds levels are not optimized, I've been to a couple movies where the treble seemed quite high. Bathrooms are always clean and staff is friendly!

The reclining, reservable seats make this the best theatre in town. The seats are so comfortable and the theatres are rarely sold out so it makes your viewing experience that much more enjoyable. One con is that they don’t get every new release so if there’s a movie you really want to see, you may have to settle for another theatre.

There was six of us out for an early evening show. With six theatres to choose from at the Cineplex Odeon Victoria, we thought everyone would be satisfied. In fact, we were perfectly satisfied because we all ended up viewing Madame. We were a bit puzzled when the film ended but sorted it out afterwards with a good discussion. Seating was certainly comfortable with the reclining seats. Parking spaces were a few blocks away but I guess we made a dent in our daily steps requirement.

The new recliner seats are a dream! I'm used to going to Silver City and have avoided the downtown theatres because of parking and the old uncomfortable seating. Definitely swaying me to come see a movie downtown more often, it's almost as comfortable as watching at home with the bonus of a huge screen. I recommend giving them a try if you haven't been since they refurbished the seats.
