  The front desk staff were not very friendly, and the pool area never had towels, but the room we had was quite nice, and very clean, at a good price. The lounge was also very fun with great staff, too!

  Everybody has their own experience when it comes to customer service and also it depends who is working in the facility because it makes a difference, some staff are rude and some are very welcoming. We came to regina for a wedding and decided to stay in chateau so when we check in April 20 at around 3:30 the guy on the front desk is very rude not very welcoming! So we decided to check out Sat because after that service he gave is totally made us uncomfortable! Didn't give us information about what to do or where to go for comolimentary breakfast, we had to find it ourselves ans figure it out. This is by far the first hotel we have stayed at who is not very welcoming to their guests!!! When we went down for our breakfast we stood at the front desk for probably 10mins while the two front desk are busy (well one is not) he look at us and continue to help the other front dest who screwed up on cash etc. When it comes to customer service you stop whatever your doing and help the guests as soon as you see them approaching the front desk. All we wanted to ask is where should we to for breakfast and told us but when we went its smitty's restaurant and didn't say much information about hotel guests so we had to go back to front desk and the guy on the front desk told is we need a brochure for it to get complimentary breakfast!! What the !!! U should have told us right the beginning when we ask u where is breakfast!!!!! All I have to say they have BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! glad we left the following day because we are getting really frustrated with their service. WONT STAY HERE AGAIN!!!

  Staff were friendly. The walls had severe water damage, the carpet was soaked, the shower looked like you would need to wear flip flops inside. Would not recommend. Ended up getting a refund and staying elsewhere.

  I stay at hotels about 300 days a year and this hotel gets some simple things right that bug me about higher end hotels. For example, they put the shower curtain at the end of the tub/shower that is farthest from the toilet. Most places put it in the end closest to the toilet. My one complaint is that some entrance doors are locked quite early, around 8pm. So you need to go through the front or the entrance near the lounge after that time. I have had a vehicle broken into there also, but i left something valuable in sight, so I guess I am partially responsible. Staff are friendly and accommodating.

  Good staff and clean but the hotel is fairly old and is more just dress up. Lots of scuffs on walls. I think it's rated as 2 star. It's close to a more unsavory area so make sure you don't leave expensive things laying out in your car. The pool is pretty basic, there is no slide but it does have a hot tub. The rooms are smaller than they look in the pictures.
