  Pretty good Canadian Tire for household item purchases. Staff is usually friendly and helpful. I don’t use their automotive services, bad experiences in the past.

  I went in for an alignment and left with a $3000 quote for basically an entirely new suspension system and a warning NOT to drive my car because the struts were close to breaking! I'm not sure if their mechanics are truly incompetent or if they are just trying to scam those they believe don't know any better. I left having to pay $45 for the "inspection" they did. I brought my car to another mechanic found on Yelp who had AMAZING reviews. This mechanic invited me into the shop so I could see my suspension while the car was on the hoist and explained the inspection and repairs necessary to me. Unlike Canadian Tire who has recently BLACKED OUT the windows facing the garage so that customers cannot see in(sketchy much?). I discovered that yes, my rear control arm bushings needed replacing and the driver side front strut needed replacing. After receiving a MUCH lower quote from this mechanic, I decided to do both front struts because the price was so great. It seems every time I go into Canadian Tire for an oil change or an alignment, I get a call 2 hours later saying they couldn't do the work because the car needs thousands of dollars in repairs. I will never bring my car into any Canadian Tire Auto Service garage ever again. I truly feel like I am being taken advantage of as a customer.

  One cash open. Looonnnggggg line up. Not a lot of good prices, nor good quality product - quite disappointing. For example, Costco has much better quality planters, thicker, stronger, more attractive and better priced. Huge wall of sink faucets, not ONE on sale??!!?? Huge assortment of bicycles - wow! Huge auto center. Hunting and fishing department. Excellent assortment of tents and camping gear. Ample parking. Plenty of staff on the floor throughout store for assistance. A very large location, with a lot of product - just not many deals to be found, and lesser quality than I expect from CT. One cashier?!?! #localguide

  The Canadian Tire store on Coventry Road is very big! Sometimes their computer in store at the entrance is helpful if you know, what you are looking for. I ask for help from the staff and they point me in the direction, where I need to go. When I am with my mother she who find it hard to hear I will flag down an employee who is close by and I will ask her/him for their help us find an item. They are honest with their answers.
