Unhelpful staff when your able to find them. Most staff did not know about any of the products when asked. For example near the hunting equipment there was no employees in sight. another would be the paints staff, nowhere close by when asked nobody even know about kind of paints they even had in stock. Meaning the base of the paints and type of the paints.

This store manager must have a serious stock ordering problem. For MONTHS now I've repeatedly asked the stores managers and clerks to get "Fresh Start Non-Clumping Litter, 18kg" in stock. They NEVER get it. After MONTHS of requesting. So, even though I live across the street from this store, I have to drive to either Polo Park or out to Route 90 to buy it. Please stock this item. [Product #042-5355-6]. I have a bad hip and driving to Route 90 every 2 weeks to buy this is very painful for me. I fail to comprehend why this store refuses to stock this item for me. I buy 4 bags a month, ($432.00 per year). Why won't you stock this? My wife has 3 cats. We need this. I hope someone reads this.

Went in November 3rd to get new tires. Stood at the counter for over half an hour as the computers were crashing over and over. Finally got on a computer that worked, found my tires and was told to go walk around for half an hour while they got approval from MPI for financing. When I returned they said all was well and handed me a repair order. I was told to come back November 12 at 12:30 because they were very busy. I returned November 12th with the repair order and my keys. They had no record of anything like I was never even there. No appointment no tires, The guy just stood there. I Went to speak with the manager and got the exact same response. Do what you will.. I will not use this stores services again in the future. [I dislike the fact I have to give them 1 star for this review in order to post]

Bald Management guy was a prick. He attempted to apprehend a patron at the store who set off the detector (Management guy was entering the store as patron was leaving). I informed him that I witnessed the man walk in and set the buzzer off as well. I used to have the same problem. I'd wear a certain pair of pants and it would set them off. Anyway, I was trying to protect the Canadian Tire employee by informing him that if he did not witness him steal something then he cannot legally detain him. As a matter of fact, detaining him would be considered false imprisonment. To make a long story short (too late, I know) he got in my face and threatened me as well.....despite being a witness that he entered the place setting off the alarm. I'll never go to that store again. As a matter of fact I won't go to that mall again considering employees of Shoppers Drug Mart who were there verbally attacked me as well. And for anyone in law enforcement reading this review, when I told them I'm an ex-police officer (letting them know that I'm not just blowing smoke about this) they all sniggered and proceeded to tell me that Winnipeg Police are all on the take.

I will shop elsewhere. CT national customer service was able to locate the item I was searching for (wheels). They were not available on line, or in Manitoba, but a store in Ontario had them in stock. CT mentioned to me that often the various stores will ship items to another store, but there may be a shipping cost (something I was willing to pay). The Grant Park store refused outright. This decision was made by the service manager. I will call TireRack. Great service and always ready to make a fair deal. The USA is pretty messed up in some ways but they sure know how to treat a customer.
