  I gave two stars because the service advisers are friendly, especially the young brunette. She was completely honest with me and told me that I did not need new brakes yet. My issue with this place is that I called to request a simple fluids check - oil, power steering etc, and no one could tell me how long it would take nor could they tell me a price. The guy who answered the phone at Pit Stop said "I don't know, it depends on what needs to be done". I then asked what if I needed all my fluids changed, then what's the cost and how long does it take? Still no answer. Seemed like he wanted me to come in, then charge a ridiculous amount for minimal work. They replaced a valve that caused an engine misfire for almost $700. I can't help but feel like they took advantage of a young woman who has limited auto knowledge. I'm a long time Canadian Tire Mastercard holder and this experience left a bad taste. Don't think I'll be going back there unless the brunette is there.

  This is a good Canadian tire location with lots if selection and a tidy store. They have some steel sheets available in automotive suitable for patching or welding body or floorpan damage. I would avoid getting tires changed here, the garage seems perpetually backed up, but if you must there's food choices in walking distance.

  Terrible experience with the Auto Service. Called to book an appointment to install a license plate bracket and was told they do this for free and no appointment was necessary. Took the car in and was told that I did need an appointment and that it was not free. Decided to still have it installed and paid for the installation. Once installed it was drilled in completely off center. 3 months later it fell off completely as the screws they used were too short. This is obviously a safety issue. Terrible customer service and unknowledgeable.

  Avoid the Pit Stop. Went to the pit shop for a simple oil change and filter. Seemed like none of the guys were actually working at all even though the bays were full. They were hanging out and chatting. Nobody approached me to ask what I wanted. I Waited for over an hour and they hadn’t moved a single car out of any of the bays. Then an employee finally approached me and basically told me they were letting someone in front of me in the cue. so I just left. I normally don’t write negative reviews, but this was a notably bad experience.
