Very sad to say, but this is an honest review that these people are the lowest of the low that you will ever meet. They scream at students and instructors, infront of anyone and everyone for no reason at all. Anna and Peter act like children infront of students, walk ins and instructors when they have a couples fights. One time they were both at dispatch and Anna said to the dispatcher, "Tell Peter he needs to forward me those emails" and he was right next to her...!! International students have lost thousands and thousands of dollars each because they just keep their funds with out returning them, all because they want to transfer to other schools. They never know how much is in their own account. No one seems to. This even happens to local students as well. Me included. Their aircraft are unsafe and if TC got a hold of this, well they would shut them down. Even the instructors wont fly them at times. They pressure you to fly which means more money when you already are proficient and dont need to. The instructors are fantastic, but unhappy, and who would blame them? They go above and beyond for their students and the school and they get yelled at unjustifyably. You will probably get a generic reply to this, but don't beleive them. They dont have your best interests in mind. All they want is money and money then they cant remember your name. Further down you'll see five star reviews, (both for Bounday and Loops) the three people I know were "encouraged" to write them, or they were threatened to fail their flight tests... More money. This is a first hand recollection of what I whitnessed. I finished last fall and it's all still going on. This is to save people from going there and if I had my time again .... You decide..

Great instructors and reception staff but owner and examiner is a disappointment. Im a Canadian, and spent 6k here doing my multi training on their Seneca over a period of a month, got good training from two of their excellent instructors and got a letter of recommendation and scheduled date for the flight test with owner Peter Schlieck. First scheduled day he didn't show the morning of, then didn't reply for a week as he was kicking around for a week of nice weather working on other things, and finally agreed on two other dates for the flight test the following week, he again flopped on both. I took these days off work, I even went in the day before to confirm but Peter completely ignored me, and told my instructor he 'forgot' afterwards. My instructor called and appologized on Peters behalf. Funny because Peter also clearly replied me on text he would commit those days, but didn't. If this is how you appreciate your customers, then it shows how entitled they are for taking your money. Could have at least called me. I was impressed with the instructors and availability otherwise, really nice people work here. I even agreed to pay the 0.2 mandatory ground briefing fee on top of the dual rate every flight, even if you don't always get one. Like I said, instructors, staff are great. But the fact that you commit time off work and schedule multiple dates for a flight test with the owner, having them flake repeatedly is a joke. I eventually tried to talk to them about this and Peter offered me more test days, but yet again didn't reply and thereafter said he was not available. Furthermore they accused me of being the one at fault for cancelling (why would I do that after spending 6k there to get my rating done?) and I had to go to another school to finish. Take other reviews here with due consideration. I'm sure for some it worked out great but for me, it was a disappointment.

Did my Program in Kamloops in 2015-2016. Couple of glitches (airplane availability at that time), but I like how they were sorted out and management listened to me and made exceptions. I wanted to mention what some people write here about CONTRACTS. Yes, they are training contracts, like in any serious school. I spent 4 years in Thompson Rivers University, and we had contracts too. Banks or phone companies have contracts. Everybody who conducts business should, and there's nothing wrong with it. But I also know that CFC also often makes lots of exceptions and makes real effort to accommodate students and have them happy. They did for me. If you have a problem, just go talk to Peter or Anna, they will work with you on solving it.

I have been on the Professional Pilot Program for the last 2.5 month and it has been great. I’m very happy with the people, planes and program the school offers. When I started my training, I talked with my instructor about my goals and personal deadlines for my rating and licenses and since then, she has been super supportive to make my plans a reality. Instructors, dispatch and maintenance guys are cool people always open to help and answer any questions you have. That gives to the school a friendly environment. About Anna and Peter, they are great. You can talk to them whenever you need and if you cross them at the school they will be interested about how everything goes for you. I think that is something that makes the school more friendly and special. There is one review saying that the school only wants your money. You have to understand that the school is a business and all business needs to make a profit (earn money) If they don’t, they go bankrupt and the school closes. Approach any flight school with that in mind and you will be able to understand in a better way all the paper work and procedures they have.
