  I don’t even think it worth 1 star! Worst service at all among all restaurants I’ve visited in Ottawa. Being racism and discriminatory will destroy your business in Canada. The servers really need to be trained again and know how to respect customers.

  Friendly cool staff and an amazing menu of sweet and fun meals you'll go back for again. I would highly recommend going here for a date or for a fun night with friends. It's usually quite busy tho so you may have to wait a few minutes.

  Just went here for a treat after dinner at Joey. Told my friend we should have this instead of dessert at Joey. Got seated and never got approached by the staff again, until the one guy working noticed us getting up to leave. He and one other girl were working, she was taking orders for a few guests but then chatting with two people up front. The guy that seated us took one table’s order and then just did dishes and other stuff without bothering to acknowledge us. When we said we were leaving he just cleared our menus and didn’t seem bothered that he lost customers. I see quite a few other similar reviews on here, with the same response that it will be discussed with management. Seems like it has fallen on deaf ears, or you need a new manager. I’ve been to the one in the market before but I will definitely not come back or recommend this location to anyone.

  I'm generally a pretty easy person to please but I was VERY disappointed by my first and last visit to this place. This is a long review to in short, poor service and bad food. Walking into the establishment, I had a patron turn around and tell me to leave. That the service was very slow and poorly organized. Not the best first impression but I wanted to try the food, I stay regardless since we were going for my mom's birthday. I should have listened. Took about 10 minutes to get seated or any acknowledgment from the staff, in a half empty restaurant. Got our seats and as we were looking over the menu, the waitress dropped a dish and all could easily hear her drop the F word from across the room. A few minutes later, I could hear her talking to a co-worker bad mouthing some clients who left (presumably the ones that told me not to stay), call them an @$$-hole and how tonight's be a $h!t show. When the food came, the marshmallows were stale and waffle was ice cold. At this point I didn't bother saying anything as I was ready to go after everything that happened. After finishing our meal, I paid and left no tip on the debit machine as I prefer to leave cash tips. However it was apparent after the waitress looked at the receipt and saw no tip, she was not pleased. She forcefully placed the receipt on the table and in a insincere manor said have a nice night. All this being said, I even wrote an email to the company have not heard back. So I guess the company is fine with these actions and for that, I will not be bad and left my honest review.

  Been to this place twice and so far, both times have disappointed me service-wise. Both times, we waited almost half an hour to be even asked what we wanted. Both times, we flagged them down before it took any longer. Same thing happened when we wanted the bill. The first time, we wauted almost an hour to be given a bill and this second time, the waiter purposely avoided us for over ten minutes. We couldn't even tell if he was our waiter or not because everyone was avoiding us. Another couple even sat down after us and had their orders before we even ordered. There was only one woman who was extremely busy who was actually nice. Food is mediocre and the chocolate is good but I'm never going back there. High prices. Slow and rude staff for the most part.
