I sat at the bar and asked the apprent newer bartender to order a drink. I had to ask him twice and he continued to ignore us while staring at his computer facing us with a smurk on his face and no eye contact. He's around 6 ft 3, medium Brown hair, short in length. And the place was not been busy. You would think with the recent closure of Brew Street, on St Johns St in Port Moody, BC they would get their act in gear and hire professional staff!

Food was good, lots of beer selections, incredibly slow service even though not busy. party of 4 ordered 3 beers and a specialty drink, one beer came after about 10 mins. Server returns saying sorry we can't make that drink and another was ordered. She leaves again comes back 5 mins later saying they are out of ice cream so they can't make that drink either. That person now decides on water, me and my friend are still waiting for our beers. After another 10 mins our beers show up finally. We're enjoying our drinks finally and waiting to order food. The hostess comes by and informs us they need our menus for another table. My friend tells her we would actually like to order food before giving up our menus. She says ok and disappears and finds our server to come take our orders. We place our order. Food came out about 45 mins later tasted great. Service for second and third drinks is now happening promptly. I am unsure why service in a dead pub is awful and when it gets busier it gets better with what seemed the same staff. Needless to say I won't be returning to find out.

Gave this bar a shot after moving into the suburbs from Vancouver, especially since I think the owners also run the Kitchen Table in Kits. My experience here was very disappointing and more so because of the service. It was a Sunday night (6:30PM) of a long weekend so myself, my hubby and a friend decided to check out the Brew Street. Upon walking in we waited sometime before being seated (there were less than four tables occupied). After being seated it took 25 minutes for our server to offer us any beverage - water included. I had also gone to the women's washroom and there was no toilet paper anywhere to be found - this was at 7PM on a Sunday night -- it was far from busy and they were supposed to be open until 2am! Finally when it was time to order the waitress didn't seem to know the menu at all as she kept coming back to say they were out of whatever we had ordered. My hubby was getting pretty impatient but I calmed him down saying maybe she was new. We ordered honey garlic wings and our friend ordered bbq wings. When our server brought these over she claimed that ours was honey garlic and gave our friend his bbq flavor- however the wings we received were hot wings. After letting her know she apologized took the wings back and re-ordered our wings. When she returned she came back with BBQ wings. It was at that point that I had asked her if she was new and she said she had been working there for a couple of years which really blew my mind. I just wanted to eat food and leave. It was at this point it was starting to fill up with the younger crowd, louder music so we requested for our bill which came with an extra 3 beers we had never ordered. Our waitress appeared super sweet and had apologized profusely. I just couldn't comprehend my experience there at all. I have never experienced that kind of service ever - we came to the conclusion that perhaps there was some substance abuse going on. So as trendy and promising as Brew Street appeared to be it's really poorly run. I definitely will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone.

Good beer and quiet. Expect new staff and a little fumbling of orders, yet staff are kind and always upbeat. Good neighbourhood pub

16 year old shotty blonde waitress is underage and feels to empowered. Loved the Burnette waitress, bartenders and bouncers. Kids gotta go though
