  Horrible return policy and customer service. Bought something 3 hours ago needed to return it and there was no leniency as far as returning or exchanging. I was told it was due to the owner's store policy. This policy was not explained by staff when I purchased my items and is in small writing on the receipts. Furthermore, although the staff seem smiley as clients walk in they'd prefer chatting to themselves or staying behind the counter instead of helping clients like other furniture stores. Once I was even told by staff to not sit in a chair they placed outside (while I waited for the bus) as that chair was only for customers. Why would customers sit outside? All in all, although I support small artsy shops I do not support bad customer service. The only way I would change my view is if they re-negotiated returning the items I purchased. And regarding the person that calls me "delirious" and a "dumb ass", you are showing your true colours and possible partiality by calling me offensive names over my own personal customer experiences.

  Guy below me is delirious. It is clearly stated on the receipt and right at the till and elsewhere that the store has a no return policy. The owners decide that policy, not the sales staff. You show your true colors in throwing the sales staff under the bus then stating you would change your review if they make an exception because your dumbass can't read and now are being a giant baby about it. The girls here are some of the sweetest, realist people in Victoria. They don't try and force their way onto you like normal furniture stores and will allow you to browse, but if you need help they're very knowledgeable and helpful.

  Cool stuff, but the worst return policy. By worst I mean no return or exchange policy. Better make sure what you buy is exactly what you need. The owners need to conform to the 21'st century of small businesses and make sure customers are taken care of.

  LOVE love love this store!!! The pieces are totally unique and gorgeous. Quality of the items was the best I've seen anywhere. Would stand the test of time. Definitely all of the items I saw in the store would prompt conversation with guests! Love that a lot of the furniture is made from reclaimed wood. Absolutely love their chandeliers. Staff was very helpful. I was assisted by "Sawyer", who had some great ideas about colour and texture, how to display items. She listened to the sort of look I like and pointed out pieces that would fit with the atmosphere I am trying to create in my space. My daughter bought me a beautiful candle from the store for my birthday (after I had been raving about the store!), The candle sits inside a round concrete container, very unique, and it smells amazing when I burn it. It has lasted much longer than other candles I have. Also love their room spray, "Original Room Spray", the name doesn't adequately describe the scent - which reminded me of being in Paris for some reason! Wonderful experience all round, highly recommend dropping in to check things out.

  Consider yourself warned...this store has beautiful pieces. Stunning. But you'll also be stunned by the poor customer service on the back end. For example, say in the event that you purchase a piece of furniture that does not fulfill the requirements of said piece of furniture, namely a table that is not flat, they will then tell you that it was meant to be an 'art piece'. But not before trying to have it repaired by having it welded at an OFF-ROAD VEHICLE MODIFICATION SHOP that is conveniently next door to their warehouse. But why attempt to have it repaired, Bois and Cuir, if the table is not meant to be a table and it is a 'decor piece'? No, the 'decor' designation was only attached when the repair failed to correct the manufacturers defect...When they refused to refund the $1000+ dollars, instead patting themselves on the back at the offer of store credit. For a table that was defective to begin with, suffered a failed attempt at repair, and is now apparently a real conversation piece as a sloped table.
