  Best skate shop in the Capital. This shop has a beautiful DIY aesthetic. Very cozy and welcoming shop. Would be the best place to buy your first skateboard, with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Also a great place to have a coffee, hang out, and check out some hand selected products by Ottawas finest skateboarders.

  Friendly, knowledgeable staff, and lots of great skate product that you can't find anywhere else in Ottawa. They give more back to the community and to skateboarding than any other business I know of. Great shop, with great people behind it, who have more than earned our support. 👍

  I have been in Birling a number of times ...all positive experiences. Kyle is very knowledgeable about all the products and in what projects Birling is working on in the community. A beautifully laid out store. A must see

  Birling is easily my favourite retail store in Ottawa! From product selection & knowledge to a focus on Canadian made goods, Birling has it all. The owners all skate and test their products themselves. Birling also plays an active role in the Ottawa skateboard community and helps spread the general positivity that surrounds skateboarding.

  I love this shop & I think you will too. Good vibes all around. They carry authentic skateboard brands. The shoe selection is top notch and you won't find these at the mall. They also have their own shop clothing made with premium materials (made in Canada). The style of the shop is amazing. Designed by the owners themselves. Kyle is the main man behind the counter & he has set me up with proper gear from day one. These guys and gals work hard to make Ottawa a better place to live & skate (613 girls skate, for pivot sake & other rad endeavors). Even if you don't skate you will feel welcome. You might even pick up a devils toy yourself !
