  We were in town attending a wedding at the Burnaby Village Museum and this hotel location was great. The hotel property is older but very well kept up. Room was very clean and well laid out. The bed was one of the best we have slept on. Had a great sleep. The mattress had a zippered mattress pad protector which was great. We always check for evidence of bed bugs when we stay at hotels and check the online beg bug report. No reports on this property. Our room was located at the back of the property (room 420) and very quiet. The only negative issue was at the free hot breakfast. Breakfast is served from 6:30-10:30am. We arrived at the breakfast room at 9am to find no scrambled eggs or coffee. It was almost 15 minutes before they put out fresh eggs. The hotel was full so the kitchen staff need to plan better. I could see if this was at 10:15am but not 9am during prime breakfast eating hours. Other than this, we would definitely stay at this hotel again!

  I always look to stay here when I'm in Vancouver. The staff here is excellent and will go out of their way to make you feel at home. The location is really good for non-downtown Vancouver. The Sky Train was less than 9 minutes away on foot and there's buses available right in front of the hotel. But of course, a car is recommended. Breakfast here is easily the best part. It was complimentary and there was a wide variety of options available (eggs, sausage links, bacon, pancakes, waffles, muffins, bagels, juice, coffee, etc.). The breakfast staff is excellent and their manager took her time to made sure everything was okay. Would absolutely stay here the next time I'm in Vancouver.

  The staff is most friendly. Our room requests were granted (ground floor and pet-friendly). Our little dog was even given treats and a nice poop bag holder full of bags, which we have continued to use. The free breakfast was incredibly varied and delicious. It included scrambled eggs, hard cooked eggs, breakfast meats, pancake maker, waffle maker, toast, muffins, bagels, croissants, yogurt, juice, coffee, and tea. Very happy and friendly breakfast staff. The property is on a very busy street, which sometimes has sirens, but not annoyingly so. The location in Vancouver is good for those who do not want to stay in the busy downtown area, and have a car. There is not much around in the way of entertainment or attractions, so a car is necessary, although city transportation runs right in front of the hotel. It is 3 stories with an elevator, and a guest laundry. Also a nice pool area. We will definitely stay here again.

  Do not stay here. If you do then: 1. Do not stay in any room with a door facing the road, the noise level will be unbearable. 2. Do not stay in any room with adjacent neighbors. You will hear normal conversations without problems, for example my neighbors were French-Canadian musicians. 3. Find some way to levitate 3 inches of the bed. The fitted sheets were rubberized and uncomfortable/noisy to sleep on. 4. Practice starring at dirty walls by spending a night or two at a bus shelter. 5. Pray that the hotel gets replaced by robots who might be friendlier to talk to. 6. Ask the nice owners of the Chinese restaurant next door if you could stay with them for the same price. Breakfast was excellent.

  Hotel staff were professional and pleasant. The room had very nice decor and comfortable beds. Small bathroom with tub/ shower and toilet was sufficient. It was nice to have a large vanity outside bathroom. Breakfast was included. Not the best area though although convenient to Metropolis mall which is why we stayed there.
