  Used to work nearby and have lunch from here often. So many things are so delicious. The egg salad is perfect. The club sandwich is wonderful. The breakfast is incredible and the burgers are delicious. We were in the area so we decided to pop in for lunch. I had a club sandwich in multigrain and it was as good as I remember and my husband had a reuben and says it was very good. He especially liked the spicy mustard in it. The staff were quick and great as I remembered and the prices are still reasonable.

  The service used to be great but it is super disappointing lately. The food is still good though so if you have lots of patience and don't mind some attitude, this is the spot

  I went to pick up some City Rye bread at Bernsteins for my Superbowl party. I decided to grab some cold cuts while I was there. I had several people comment that the roast beef, corned beef, and pastrami was the best they had ever had! I would have to agree. Reminded me of the deli food when I was a kid. It is my new goto for sandwich meats.

  Stopped here to enjoy their contribution to La Poutine Week. Latke fries, beef brisket and bone marrow gravy. Very delicious. I also had a half order of corned beef sandwich, fully loaded. Even the half sandwich was a large portion. Very fresh ingredients and well put together food. Parking lot is full when the restaurant was not. Decor leaves a lot to be desired. Seems very dated and the seating is not overly comfortable. But the food more than made up for this small shortfall.

  Came in with a party of four. At 2pm were seated almost immediately. A stroke of good fortune as this place is jumping with people most of the day. Ate the Reuben Deluxe, wow what a masterpiece! Only complaint was 1000 island does NOT belong on a reuben. But the purple cabbage sauerkraut more than made up for it. And the house corned beef is delectable, a revelation of meatiness. Heartily satisfied, warmly recommended.
