::A lot of promise - but falling short lately. Every time I have gone, their bulk Barn bins of grain have been mostly empty. I went a few weeks back at 11 am on a Saturday to buy shanks for a kegerator - they were closed right in the middle of open hours. Without any notice or reason on their door or twitter feeds. Bit too unreliable.

::Awsome staff and amazing concept. This is the "balk barn" of beer grains. If you are looking to start into this hobby or you want to start improvising your own beer recipe, this is THE place. I drive an hour to get to them because they are simply the best around. But if you live in Ottawa, you are in luck. They are downtown, right off the 417. Cheers!

::Good store, good prices, knowledgeable staff take time to get you what you need. Good selection of grains, hops and yeast. Weigh out exactly how much grain you want and they will mill it if you need. All around good experience.

::Great store to go to. They have a good mix of equipment, odds and ends needed for your brewing setup, and plenty of ingredients. You can order online and request pickup in store, or if you feel like browsing a bit you can drop in. The staff have always been attentive to the customers needs in my experience, and will check their storage if you can't find what you are looking for in the store-front. If you are measuring out ingredients yourself, you can weigh out what you need instead of being forced to buy full pounds of grain.

::Decided to offer the 1 gallon starter beer kit for my boyfriend’s birthdayd last October. We ended coming almost every 2 weeks ! The staff is super friendly and always ready to give good advice, from complete newbie brewers to experts. Good price and good quality...Now we are just waiting to taste the end result ☺️!
