  The owners and staff of this store were extremely helpful when I asked for help on making a bracelet. They spent an hour carefully helping me decide what beads to put on my bracelet, and even helped me and my family decide which ferry we should go on to reach Vancouver on time. I highly appreciate the customer service here, which is the reason that I give Bamboo a 5/5 stars

  Great selection, horrible prices and service. I went in as I am from off island and was suggested by a friend to check it out. I was looking for jewelry supplies. I noticed right away the prices where double than some stores. I did find a bargin bin and saw some nice pieces. So I digged into the bin but I didn't find anything. Than as I left the bins at the one area of the store I noticed one employee was behind me watching me as I was looking at the beads. than she started rearranging the box of beads as I left .she never asked if I needed assistance she just hovered over me. It was uncomfortable and I will not be returning.

  I visit bead shops in almost every city that I visit. This is one of the friendlies little shops. They had a nice variety of beads, jewelry, and gifts. The ladies working there (I think that one of them might have been the manager or owner) where very helpful and treated each customer like they were important. We had some children in our group and one of the ladies helped one of the children to make his own purchase showing him how to use the cash register. Very impressive! This was my favorite shop in Victoria's China town.

  Staff is amazing and helpful 100% of the time. Prices are average but the sales can be great. Probably my favorite place to shop for gem related items in victoria, I tend to stop in once a week or so for little rocks and beads :)

  Oh. My. God! They have everything! I spent 4 years looking for black quartz... I go in there and BAM! They have it.... Staff are RIDICULOUSLY well informed and knowledgeable. Great sales, and they occasionally do classes. 10/5 Double Perfect score
