Do not waste your time here. I was interested in a Sansui turntable they had for sale and I'd driven from London, Ontario to see it. Upon inspection noticed there was significant damage to the RCA's where the copper was showing and the plinth and dust cover had some minor scratches and damage. This prompted me to ask the 80 year old Asian man working the counter what the price was on the unit and he said $250.00. I asked him if I could demo it to ensure it worked properly and he said I needed to make an offer first before he would plug it in which made no sense as judging by the damages I was cautioned as to whether I would pursue the sale considering the circumstances. He was very rude and on the phone the whole time I was there not giving me any time. His shop was chalked full of over priced junk. He also said I wasn't a serious buyer. Not sure how a 6 hour drive from London, Ontario doesn't make me a serious buyer. #buyerbeware

After my recent experience at this place, I would not shop here again. I purchased a very nice looking vintage receiver that I wanted to use with a turntable. The owner assured me that all of their equipment is tested and guaranteed. However, when I brought the receiver home it turned out that one of the channels on the phono input was not working. It gave sound from both sides for everything except phono, where there was only sound from the right. I took it back and asked for this to be fixed--it's probably just a loose connection somewhere since everything else seems to be working fine. However, after two weeks and several visits to the store, I was never able to get it repaired. Let's just say that, after interacting with the owner and another employee, I don't believe that they do have anyone working there who actually knows how to repair or even test audio equipment, despite references to a mysterious "technician" who is strangely never there. When I finally got them to set up the receiver with a turntable so that we could listen to it, it appeared that they don't even have a place to do this. They had to set it up on the front counter by the cash. So how can they claim to test all of their equipment when they don't even have a bench set up for that purpose? Hilariously, when they hooked up one of their turntables, an item for sale, it also did not work properly and was obviously defective. And they will not refund your money, even if the item you purchased is defective! After wasting tons of time trying to get them to fix the receiver, I finally decided that I would take it back and just try to fix it myself. At least it will be interesting and I'll learn something about how receivers work, which is much better than wasting more time getting the runaround from the Audio Mart folks.

Have had them repair some of my gear, have purchased some of my gear there as well. A great second hand audio store with literally tons of interesting stuff. I like to go at least once a month to see what new stuff he has.

Really nice selection going from high end to low end at a good price, but the cutumer service was not impressing at all for a first visit, I hope it was just an isolated case.

This place is sort of a carnival of strange used equipment. I have both purchased things from and sold things to the shop (owner Mike) and have not had any problems. In the back you'll find the wild high-end stuff and I am one of a number of audiophiles who say "when in Ottawa..." I post this review because I am a little suspicious of some of the intense negatives... These guys know what they are doing and have always dealt honestly and very pleasantly with me.
