My front load washing machine was not working properly. I booked tech to come out and it was determined the Drive motor needed replacing. Shawna at reception was very helpful in getting me through the process of contacting Samsung and getting work order issued. Unfortunately washer was still not functioning properly after install of new drive motor and with the information from tech we decided that the next steps were not money well spent. Purchased new machine. A & M repair tech and receptionist were both helpful, professional and services was received in a timely fashion.

My experience with A&M Appliance was a positive one compared to some of the other reviews. The tech showed up when he said he would and fixed my washer within the timeframe he stated (parts took 2 days to arrive as tech noted).

Probably would give higher stars if it were not for reception. I have called this place for repairs 3 times. I feel sick having to call them each time because I dread having to talk to the receptionist, she is not friendly in the least, sounds like she doesn't want to have to pick up the phone and that your call is an incredible inconvenience to her... She was very short with me about every little detail, as if I'm the tech and should have all of the answers. I don't even know her name, she has never answered the phone (all 3 times) with 'A & M' or her name, so I had to guess I got the right place the first time... Reading all the past reviews I CANNOT believe this is an ongoing issue! The technician was timely and courteous, exactly what you would hope for when letting someone into your home and trusting them to properly repair your appliances. As for reception, it would make the process much smoother if someone would train the person who answers the phone to answer it in a reasonable way, in a customer service-like manner, because the person on the line is likely already incredibly frustrated with their appliance... I worked in customer service most of my desk-career life... it's not hard to even fake a smile and pleasant manner when you're having a bad day to accommodate a frustrated customer who is also having a bad day... ***edit, Oh My Goodness... I cannot believe how unprofessional the 'owner' responses are! So glad my real name isn't on here! You can't just tell the world what the specific problem was with their appliance. Besides, that has NOTHING to do with the awful customer service! Though the service was bad I would never actually name the receptionist

I phoned these folks one morning after my fridge stopped working. The lady on the phone said no one would be able to look at my fridge, even after letting her know I had a whole fridge full of food I would like to save. Fast forward a few hours and I figure out what part I need. From what I understand, it's a common problem with any fridge, so why wouldn't they have parts? Well, I'm told they could order one and with luck it could be two weeks. Two weeks? I live in a city of 71,000, not Inuvik. Flash forward a couple hours and I get a call from the technician who asks me what my fridge is doing. He confirms my earlier suspicions and says they have a universal part and told me what to do and if I have any issues, call him. I can't figure it out an he comes to my house within an hour and fixes it. And he gives me a break on the labour seeing I had the fridge disassembled. I would have given three stars were it not for the technician. Word of advice, skip the front counter and just ask for the technician.

Excellent professional service!!! Service is always fast and efficient BC Hydro was to have our power turned on by 3pm the technician showed up just after 3 and the power was not on he fixed my washing machine in the dark with the use of a flash light and unfortunately was unable to test it, He showed up the next morning and completed the job even though they were extremely busy and fully booked for the week. I have used A & M for many years and find that they are honest hard working locally owned family business and will go out of their way to ensure that you have the best service and product. They go above and beyond to help you with all your repairs whether they are warranty and non warranty related,. I would highly recommend them.
