  The worst experience I’ve ever had in moving. I’ve worked in the moving industry for over 10 years. And now I had to move my own furniture from one city to another so I was hoping to rely on some professionals. They let me down every step of the way. Late for pick up with no explanation no forewarning just did not show up. Anyone selling a house knows you have a time factor can empathize with my stress. Moved to another city and waited more than four weeks for my furniture. When it was finally delivered 3/4 of it was damaged even though it was wrapped. I filed a damage claim was promised response within two weeks and it’s been two months and I have not heard a word from the company. My advice is avoid alliance as if they have the plague they are the worst movers I’ve ever known in my lifetime and I’ve dealt with many.

  This was a great experience. I moved from Trenton to the Saint-Quentin, NB. I was quoted a price and when I called before the move and removed a few boxes and items the price was adjusted down. They were easy to get in touch with also. Tony, who was in charge the day of the move, was great. They came on time and everything was packed so carefully. I was impressed. Even though they got great reviews I was nervous because of all the horror stories you hear about movers. I had nothing to fear. It was so easy. I requested Tony to deliver my belongings also – but it was a different team (which turned out to be great as well). They let me know the day before the delivery and office called the day before before to let me know their arrival time. I could not have imagined a better move. The best thing was that the head office (Ottawa) was very responsive and could even be reached after hours and on the weekend. I worked with Michael during the quoting process and he was very nice and explained everything. He even brought up good points for packing and offered for us to purchase some covers for our sofas. You cannot go wrong with these guys. Great!

  Having moved several times in my life, I learned that there are no guarantees in moving industry, except stress. I declare now that Alliance Van Lines will change your vision, eliminate the stress and exceed your exceptations. At least, this was my moving experience in dealing with them. I did my due research and decided to go, this time, for reputable professionals. My friends' recommendations were all pointing at Alliance. With Alliance i found what i was looking for a long time - Perfect Movers. It was very easy to use the source, i just filled the quote form one time and received about five moving quotes from different professionals. I booked the mover which best fitted my moving needs and budget. The moving team were punctual, with lots of moving supplies. It was such a relief when the move was done and nothing was broken. Thank you a thousand times! PS> Dealt with Michael and Nelly – great attitude!

  I moved from North York, ON to Maple Ridge, BC and in September with my 4 small children. This was a very stressful move for us, especially my children. I spoke with Michael at Alliance. I expressed my concerns to them and they reassured me that my move would go well. The truck arrived on time and the guys who did the moving were great. I had one box that was missing but when I called my rep he was able to locate the box and return it to me. If you have to move use these guys!!!! Thanks again!

  When the men arrived they were extremely efficient. They wrapped all of my furniture items in special blankets. They made sure everything was bubble wrapped including my grandmothers special plate. Runners were provided to cover the floors as well as it was muddy that day. My move was from Portage La Prairie, MB to Burnaby in British Columbia. The guy who I dealt with Alliance was Michael and he was nice to deal with. I was very service but he was able to answer all of my questions. The truck arrived a day late because of a weather storm, but they did call me and notify me which was nice. I was a bit upset but the managers at the head office were accommodating. They sent me a form to fill out with a good estimate. I was satisfied to pay that. At the end we paid exactly what was quoted originally plus taxes and a month and a half of storage. This was very pleasing to me as I was afraid of bad surprises. All in all I would call them again when I need to go back to Manitoba.
