  Horrible. If you call to even view an apt, no one will call you back. I called the caretaker of one building and left four messages. Two weeks later, I called and the woman actually answered. We set an appontment for the following day. I showed up, she did not. She never called back to offer an explanation or apology. Truly, truly an ignorant way to run a business. Oh and feel free to read the news stories about the owners and their shady business practices.

  .If I could give them less than one star i would. It always took several months to get any repairs done, the staff at the office is horrible and rude, the person you need to speak to always seemed to be "on lunch" regardless of when I went in for anything. They also charge you a crazy amount extra for absolutely anything they can. Currently been waiting for a month to get our damage deposit back and still trying. I can usually get a hold of someone on the phone who knows nothing and will just transfer you over to someones else's voice mail and never hear back when we leave messages. Glad to be out of there, my apartment was falling apart and several promises they made when I was moving in were never kept. I subleted my apartment and I find myself feeling terribly guilty for the lady who took over my lease. If you can avoid renting from this company please do, don't put yourself through all this stress if you don't have to.

  The Bathroom ceiling of my apartment collapsed in. Luckily I wasn't home when it happened. They then told me to stay in the apartment the night it happened. Hole in the ceiling, sewage on the floor and all. They only provided a place to stay after I threatened getting a lawyer and the Tenancy board involved. After two weeks and several meetings at the home office nothing was done. The staff was beyond rude and absolutely no help whatsoever. I finally decided to get the Tenancy Board involved at which point in time the maintenance direct proceeds to yell at me at treat even worse then the rest of the staff already had. This was honestly the worst rental experience of my life. The only good part about all of this was the caretakers of the building were actually good people and genuinely were concerned.

  Of every place I've lived, WPD has been great to me. I've lived in the same complex on 2 separate occasions, and I never have any problems with things like repairs and replacements. As an example, this past summer, my washing machine stopped working (each unit has en-suite washer and dryer), since it was on a weekend and since I can understand that washing my clothes that moment isn't life or death, it only took 3 business days to get a brand new washing machine. My suite is in good repair, and I've never had any issues with the landlords or the on-site caretaker and his wife. Hands down, best place I've lived so far.

  worst rental company ever. our resident manager was great, but doesn't live in the building like they advertise, so when the fire alarm goes off we wait until she gets here from out of town. maintenance never came to fix anything. they left us for 3 months with a toilet that would spray like old faithful all over the walls and ceiling every time we flushed it. the renovations were done so cheap that the door to the apartment doesn't close properly and the frame is literally falling off. when we tried to sublet our last month they told us we would need to sublet for a year and a month. glad to be leaving this shitty rental company.
